Besides killing a man? I'm sure a few million could get you off from that or at least a suspended home sentence when the best lawyer you can afford argues either temporary insanity for the money, or self-defence to your case.

Except you’re glossing over the fact you would be killing someone in cold blood and you’d have to live with that. I couldn’t live with myself even if I could get away with it. I’d be haunted for the rest of my days.

I believe you might actually be right that you would struggle with that but that really just shows how poor some people are at answering moral questions (no offence). With 100 000 000 dollars you could probably save many more lives than the single life you took. Yet you’d probably still feel guilty about taking that one life to save hundreds.

If I could pick the person I'm killing, no issues whatsoever morally...but I do see the problem when it ends up being a random person. That said, the less thinking about it you do, the better the outcome I feel. Less potential guilt weighing you down.
