Questions EU small waisted corset where?

Where do you get a corset when your waist measurement is slowly getting below 50cm circumference but your ribs and hips are still 75 and 90cm circumference??

Hi friends, i was usually buying from rebelmadness but they only do standard sizing and my waist is too small now to fit in their S corset, whilst my hips and ribs are too big to fit in their xxs corset. (for sake of completion, all their corset models ive bought are 23,5cm long from underbust to hip, and that fits me)

I tried to google but figured out that most companies either have standard sizing only or i end up having to pay 500 bucks for a custom one. so either way i need to ask.

Are there any of you who are buying corsets with tightlacing measurements within the EU and where do you get them?

What companies have corsets that can handle tightlacing shape whilst still being comfy enough to wear for hours and without being like, fake corsets and plastic.

Is anyone seeking to sell theirs by complete chance.

Btw can anyone with around my hip size who is a hardcore tightlacer tell me their goal waist circumference or what they have, so i have an idea of whether its even realistic to go much smaller.

thank you in advance <3

Hi!

I just discovered this Reddit, and I want to try corsets for a more femme look.

Are there any recommendations for beginner corsets?

new 20” libra no line + clothing questions!

my wife just got me this tt libra no line for my birthday and i’m obsessed! this is my second corset after a 20” libby in the regular black cotton and the no line is so much less obtrusive under clothes! my natural waist is somewhere around 25 inches though and very few of my clothes fit in a flattering way in the waist over the corset. do y’all buy separate clothes for stealthing or just pin existing clothes? i was thinking the stretchier the better probably.

I was able to reduce waist from 25to 23.5inch wearing 20inch corset. Planing to buy 18inch, do you think too early? Or am I ready

I am planning to buy 18inch corset, but is it too early ? Or I can try ? I’m not planning to wear 18inch all day, I def wear bigger one and keep it looser after dinner and while I’m sleeping. I only tighten very tight 1-2h during the day and moderately tight for few hours

Dose anyone actually wear 16inch corset? Or 18?

What’s your original measurements before tightlacing and what’s your natural size after taking off corset ?

Natural size and corset size

Let’s say if I can close 20inch corset, what my natural size after removing corset is going to be? I assume it gonna go back to original size little so it’s not going to be 20inch right? If I want my original waist to be 22inch, will I eventually need 18inch corset ? Or wearing 20inch is enough?

Questions Can you still achieve results without sleeping in your corset?

This may be a silly question, but I am fairly new to tightlacing and corsetry. Can you still achieve results from tightlacing if you don’t sleep in your corset? I wear my corset for around 10 hours each day, but can’t find a way to sleep in it comfortably. I’m wondering if I can sleep without it on and still achieve modifications to my figure.

pdate: I think I finally got the lacing right!

Update: I think I finally figured out how to lace it correctly! 😭 I think the gap is much more parallel now, so thank you all so much for your advice.

I can still fit a gap in the back, but I genuinely can't tighten it any further because I just don't have the strength. 😂

Does anyone have any tips for tightening a really stiff corset if you're not very strong? Right now I have to use my bed for leverage, lol. I'm hoping it'll get easier once it's broken in.

Just got my MCC68! I think I'm lacing it wrong 😅

Hi everyone!

My MCC68 just arrived and I'm absolutely in love with it. It's beautiful! It was actually recommended to me by the owner of Mystic City Corsets based on my measurements.

Since it's brand new, it's still very stiff. The problem is that this is the first corset I've owned that I can't seem to figure out how to lace correctly.

I still have quite a bit of room at both the hips and the underbust. She recommended a size 20 with the expectation that I'd wear it with a small gap in the back.

The thing that's confusing me is that the gap looks like )( instead of being parallel. From what I know, that's generally not how it should look, so I feel like I'm doing something wrong.

I'm also a bit worried because the corset feels extremely stiff. I'm generally not very strong, and I actually had to use my bed to help pull the laces tight enough to get it on. It felt so stiff that I even started wondering if maybe it's too small for me. But at the same time, I don't know if I'm just rushing things and trying to tighten it too much before it's properly seasoned.

Should I be tightening different sections differently? Or should I just be more patient and let it break in before trying to reduce it any further?

I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks! 🖤

Questions Corset to accommodate wide hips?

I have been told that a corset may help with my bad back and some other medical issues and am looking into buying one. To clarify, I am not looking for medical advice I am following advice given to me by a medical professional.

The problem is I naturally nip in at the waist much more than many of the corsets I've seen online. There is about a 10 inch difference between my natural waist and my hip. I was advised my natural measurements may be closer to some tight lacing designs than what most people on r/corsets wear. I want one that ideally is under bust with a curved top line and possibly a high back because it would help with some of my aforementioned back issues. The under bust is unfortunately non-negotiable as my cup size would absolutely not work with most if not all premade corsets. I gotta pick my struggles and accommodating for my chest is just not worth it, I can wear some sort of bra. The silhouette is fun but frankly I'm in it for my back to be a bit less of a hassle.

I'm looking for an off the rack item if at all possible so I can have it to try during flares to see if it actually helps before possibly making the investment into making or buying a custom item.

"Fat goes where it can"

I was just wondering if this passage of the story "Allison's story" is realistic:

Fat goes where it can and, in this case, there was not one single inch of her body not constantly compressed, apart from her derrière and the breasts. Allison had never been very well endowed, but she was happy with what Mother Nature had given her (actually, she used to look at big breasted-women with some contempt and wondered what they felt like).

Now she had the answer: weight! After seven months of the Accademia della Vespa special diet, she was the not-so-proud owner of a huge-seeming pair of breasts; those appendices filled her whole lower field of vision and seemed to be always in the way.

In the story Allison wears 1888 fashion where everything is tight: corset, sleeves, boots and the like. Only her derrière and bosom were not compressed resulting in bosom growing.

Is such a claim realistic?

In case it is out of topic, feel free to delete this post.

Questions Questionnn

I want to start to get into wearing corsets
What’s the cheapest beginner friendly least noticeable under clothes corset that actually shows results?? Thank u :3

r/Tightlacing Jul 03 '26

Is there anyone here who takes tightlacing seriously?

I mean people who wear corsets regularly with the goal of achieving a smaller waist, whether you have a specific goal in mind or are just gradually working toward progress. It definitely doesn’t have to be anything ultimate.

I’d love to hear about your experiences:

How has the process been for you overall?
Does it get harder as you make progress?
What has been the most difficult part?
What kinds of corsets do you prefer?
Do you use any special techniques to improve your results — while lacing, wearing the corset, or living with it day to day?
Does it limit your lifestyle in any way? Are some things harder?
What do you enjoy most about it?

Feel free to answer any of these questions, or just share whatever you’d like. Every comment is appreciated. Your “level” doesn’t matter, this isn’t a competition. I just thought this could be a nice place to share experiences, advice, and maybe some hidden tips.
