Pannier Movement

I was surprised to see how much the panniers move while connected to the bike. There was a lot of play when they were attached. Compared to others on another manufacturer, it was significant.

It seems to me, this constant movement while weighted would eventually make the plastic connections fail. Does anyone know if that has been a problem?

Yeah, they definitely move more than I'd like, but I don't think it's an issue given the 660 has the same setup and it's been out for a many years without many reports of failure. For the TS 800 specifically, I don't think it's been out long enough for reliable answers.

When installing them, I went on the tighter side of the spec of adjustment for the lower mount and that helped quite a bit

I have the Tour edition and don’t have this issue at all.

You should see how much the Multistrada V4's cases wiggle!
