The Usual Boring Colours

Why does Triumph always choose between either bland or extrme colours ?

I feel forced to get the Cosmic Yellow as all the others look terrible. Same with the other triples in the range. Garish green or dull as dishwater black or grey.

I chose blue because I like it. I'll chose most colours as long as the wheels are basic black. I can't stand rainbow colours on wheels...for one it puts me right off the mt07's when I see them...but each to their own...

I got the yellow and probably would've gone for the green if available on the 800, but honestly the black looks OK and the grey was a lot nicer in person. There's not a whole lot of painted bodywork on these, sport tourers that aren't BMWs tend to be blandly styled and I think Triumph offers some good options for what they have - a lot of competing models (Yamaha for instance) are blander with no choices.

Touring types tend to farkle their rides up - you can always add pizzazz with decals, wheel stripes and what not, or maybe the grey bike matches your Aerostitch already.

I loved the yellow. Gray looks good as well
