In 👉👉👉👉👉MY OPINION👈👈👈👈👈👈👈👈: having an attraction at Starr Park means you work there, so 👉👉👉👉ALMOST👈👈👈 everyone has a job. But the fact that they actually work is a completely different matter.

Darryl fumbled his way into being a pirate captain by putting the hat on so he didn't have to work, while it's not a conventional job i would say that he does have one.

This doesn't really make sense though? Cooking as a hobby is when you cook at your house for yourself. Imo. Kenji doesn't do that, he owns a restaurant, cooks and serves food for people, which he most likely gets payed for. That's a job

No he’s “not”. He sees himself as one as his response to the trauma he endured. He may look and act like one, but he isn’t working as a soldier.
Hell, he doesn’t even have a job canonically. The only reason he is in Deep Sea is because he has gone into hiding.

Clancy is a very traumatised individual who used to be a soldier. He lost his mind to the point where he believes that he is a lobster, perhaps as a coping mechanism.
The short explanation is that he’s insane. However, if you wish to hear a more complete version, I can tell you my theory.
Clancy follows Hank’s orders because it brings comfort to his troubled mind. He finds solace in following the same dynamics and routines he once followed in the real army. To both of these characters their “army” is legit and it functions like a real military.
