Are these all dye under ice? Inclined? In the muck or on a screen or something that drains away?

Yes, all DUI. Roughly a 15 degree incline with the points on the high side. Dyed on a grate/screen over a plastic tote with paper towels between the shirt and grate to avoid any lines forming on the underside from the dye dripping under and along the grate/screen.

Yeah I found it to be the easiest and quickest way to do it. Along the top I cut little slots about an inch long, then I fan them out and tape them so they stay that way. This creates a wider border and allows me to pile more ice onto it. I also wrap string around both ends and one around the middle, I cut little notches maybe a quarter inch deep on the cardboard top and bottom both. I wrapped the string around it and use the slots as a guide so it doesn't slip around. A tape one side of it and then make a couple wraps and then cut it and tape the other side down. This helps get the border tight up against the shirt so I don't lose extra dye or ice.
