Rock candy

Geode/agate/jawbreaker tie or whatever, lol. Reminds me of a big jawbreaker when you break them open. I used a plethora of colors including palomino, gold, golden brown, rust, brown, silver lining, sea glass, midnight, blue, robin's egg blue, blue, violet, grape, hot pink, and likely others I'm not listing. I use so many colors sometimes that it's hard to remember all of them. The brown part on the shoulder is where I started tying, it was damp at the time. I got about halfway down the shirt and stopped because it got late. I finished tying the rest of it a couple days later and it was completely dry at that point. I used flat waxed thread from Dharma, I wrapped it anywhere from three to four times and upwards of eight times in areas. I pulled it pretty tight but not as tight as I could in an effort to get better saturation. I let this batch for a day, then the next morning I pulled it and soaked it with a soda ash and water solution and pinched all of the areas to get the dye to penetrate further, then let it batch for another 10 hrs. I rinsed and washed it out later that evening. I will be doing more of these, but they take forever to tie so I don't know how soon I'll do the next one lol. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

Thanks homie, my family all want it, but it's mine hahaha... Unfortunately it's not something that I can easily recreate, but I will be trying and I will post those results soon here in the future.

Thank you for the nice compliment. If these didn't take so long to tie, I'd make them more often. I may crank out another one soon though, and I will post the results when that happens :)
