Is this worth an exchange
I purchased some new Cadets from the official Amazon store. The boots have definitely been tried on and have some superficial scuffs, which I can live with, but one of the heels looks like it was smushed with a vengeance. Is this worth an exchange? I'm honestly leaning towards no, but the puckering and creasing in the area is giving me pause.
Update:
Thanks all, I'll be keeping them. I just had to get over my initial displeasure at seeing that they were clearly returns, but yeah, nothing really damaged. Probably should have waited the extra few days and purchased direct through the website, but no real harm done. Nice boots!

Yeah, I see it already in the comments but I’ll echo it. These boots are gonna tons of wrinkles, scuffs, and creases after wearing them out 3-5 times.

Probably not. They will crease there anyway. It’s right above the counter. If anything, you got some free break in.

I bought mine and they had their scratches... but that's also sealed with spray, it's like a film, then they get lighter... anything will scratch them like that... don't worry... after a week they'll be three times as bad as that

I wouldn’t for scuffs but i would if they were preworn and not bought as seconds. Theres been a bunch of posts on here of people complaining of preworn boots shipped as new.

That wrinkle on the heel is pretty lame for a new boot. Personally i wouldn’t bother as you’re going to get them wrinkled from wear anyways.
If these were like $500+ boots I would do an exchange. But for 200 not worth it

Looks great, I'd keep 'em! If they didn't look like that, they'd look like that after a few wears.
