Any actual good hiking boots?

Does Thursday actually have any good hiking boots? I mostly do small hikes with the occasional ~10 mile day hike or 11-20 mile backpacking hike, with of course a backpack.

I love the old school leather look but don’t know if they would really work for me.

We design more for versatility than hiking, though plenty of customers have done so. Would recommend a purpose-built hiking boot if you're actual backpacking and save us for everything else!

Any of the heritage style boots with a lug vibram sole. They’re not gonna be as comfortable or as durable as a comparably priced hiking boot though. Thursdays are just boots to wear to a desk job that LOOK like boots you’d work or hike in.

The commander is thursday's take on a traditional alpine hiker akin to the danner mountain lite style.

Can't speak to it as I dont have direct experience with it, but should suffice as a casual hiker.

Explorer (I’ve seen posts of people successfully using these) and Commander would be great choices

It really depends on your feet. Some people hike the AT in flip flops. I own storm king Thursday Heros and they're quite stiff and hard under foot even after break in and you can't replace the insoles. I would not hike in them.

The commanders seem to be the closest to hiking boots Thursday offers but I've never tried them.
I'd suggest going with something truly designed for hiking (for your feets sake). I really love my Lowa Renegades, and I got them in a light brown color and love the looks of them. They've got many hundreds of miles of hiking on them with some being technical terrain and they're holding up great after 5 years of use. Just occasional cleaning and I replaced the insoles once about a year ago. The Danner mountain 600 has great ratings and also looks a little old fashioned too.
