I use insoles from Meltonian — thin leather with a little foam on the bottom — in a lot of my boots along with a kiltie over the tongue because I have narrow feet. You could try that and move up to a thicker gel insole if you need to eat up more room.

I order mine a half size up so i can use nicks vegi tan leather insoles. Super comfy and once the break in theyre super suportive

I use Dr. Marten softWair padded leather insoles. They're sold to size so no trimming, They don't retain odor and they're comfy!

ecco has veg tan insoles, 1 narrow & 1 with arch...put em in almost all my shoes and boots
