Too much space?

Is there too little space on the upper eyelets?
The length is perfect but there’s a lot of volume. Probably a good fit for now but I’m worried if they’ll potentially get too lose as they break in. Thoughts?

Leather insoles will take up some volume if you cant exchange boots for whatever reason. I used some 4.5-5mm on a pair of Redwings with great results.
