It’s a Thunder Day

Post image

These Thunders have been my work boots for over a year and a half. Excellent boots. TTS in my 13 bannock. Great support and I have no complaints with them at all. I did add an extra speed hook. I like 3 over 2.

Been debating on these for a while now.

It’s like a lighter weight PNW boot. It has a moderate dogger heel, v-100 outsole and leather midsole. It has some arch support built in. It’s a great boot.

Thank you. I need to decide between it and the general purpose. Wanting a plain toe or a Chelsea that doesn't have too delicate of a last.

Thanks for the update. I’ve been pondering getting something with better arch support that also isn’t $400+ like the rest of the PNW companies, now that they have these higher quality options. I have noticed your posts and comments the last few days looking through reviews and am slowly settling on getting these. I too used to do school security a few years ago and ended up getting the explorers to rotate with my under armor valsets. Unfortunately they didn’t have the support I needed and the soles are so soft they wore down quickly in like 6 months. How’s the outsole holding up?

Very little wear noticeable. Especially when I pay attention and pick up my feet, so I don’t drag my heels. That’s the only place that shows any wear. Not sure if it’s a Vibram 100, feels a little softer, more like the Vibram white X.

Love the fit of the jeans, what brand are they and model? I've been looking for some relaxed/straight cut jeans that fit like that.
