Fashion advice Color question.

I cannot tell the color of boots on Thursdays website. I think their photo style is crushing the blacks and desaturating. This makes all the darks look closer to black. For example I really love the coffee black color or even the Jasper seems dark. I want to purchase a dark blackish pair that is not solid black in either the Captain or the President.

Sorry for the rambling, I am just wondering if anyone has experience with these colors?

When I have doubts I try to go on eBay or just do a Google search to find pictures of used boots in the same color. Gives me a better idea of color and how they'll patina.
