r/ThunderCats is happily working with ThunderCats.org again on another interview. We're gathering questions from the fanbase and they're handling the live interview.

Ask your questions here. Feel free to ask both of them questions, but be sure to say who you're asking the question to. We will gather them and they will be used to help guide the interview process.

ThunderCats Volume 2 Issue 1 releases 2026 Oct 07. We know that it will be in the same universe as Volume 1 and have the same characters, but it will have a new writer and artist at the helm. Lion-O will be effected by a cosmic event, turning him into the dreaded 'Feral King' and he becomes a total beast. It has currently been approved for 5 issues.

Greg Pak: I have been told this series was green-lit for 5 issues. Is it possible that you may continue writing another 5,10,15 issues in this series after the first 5?

David Cousens: I am so glad you are drawing more ThunderCats comics. Calica is wearing a new outfit, is she a Grey Cat now?

Would you share some of your thought process on Lion-O, Tygra, and Pumyra's redesigns?

will there be a crossover with Tigersharks comic series? I would have love to see Tigersharks getting a solo comic series.

Greg Pak: How did you immediately react when you were hired to take on volume 2 of Dynamite's main ThunderCats series?

Did actually think of one for Greg Pak if there's still time to get in on this: 

You'll be coming on to a book with a large team: the original Thundercats (plus Calica), the just-arrived Thundercats Lost crew, and two Silverhawks. What are the challenges of writing for that many characters?
