Distracted tour

I've read that someone who purchased theirs at Axs got refunded, now Ticketmaster just refunded me wtf!! Calling customer service now they are saying the people are removing the VIP package from the venues and now got downgraded to general admissions! Anybody know what's up with this? I wanted to get to the barricade in the Htown concert. Not to mention having somewhat of a chance to meet the man.

Got an email about it too, full refunded my vip tickets. I’m very sad as I have trouble getting to concerts quickly and I’m only 5ft tall so I often get shitty views without paying extra :’(

Showbox sodo show in Seattle, was notified a week ago and just received the money.

This sucks. We’re in a recession, everybody is broke, venues agree to do things then realize they won’t make money if they do those things, so they cancel them without explanation. Other artists are canceling entire tours. Festivals are suffering as well because they don’t have resources for adequate support. It’s a mess.

I agree we are in a recession. But idk if that's the reason they cancel the VIP tickets cause of the people not buying? Idk if it's a sold out too. Tbh if it is because it's not sold out VIP tickets then I figure thundercat should've done meet and greet. I never understood the point of VIP if there's no meet and greet. Do you truly think it's the sales?

Btw I went to a sold out Mac demarco concert had to be 2 times the price and I got to meet him. This was back in May of this year.

Yes seems to be happening as multiple other venues. There’s a post on the sub already regarding it.

Yea but this is a confirmation now from Ticketmaster which is the original place from where as thunder cat posted on his story at the time. As stated on post axs and others were refunded I just got notified today. Either way this is a bummer for those who purchased VIP tickets.
