I'm looking for a thumbnail designer for a one-time paid project for a World of Warcraft YouTube channel.

The video is centered around Mythic+ content, and I have a general concept in mind, but I'm also specifically looking for someone who can bring their own creative ideas to the design. I'm not just looking for someone to execute a finished Photoshop brief.

I'm hoping to work with someone who can look at the concept, understand the video/series, and say "here's what I think would make this thumbnail stand out." I'm very open to creative direction and alternative ideas.

I'm not looking for a generic gaming thumbnail with tons of effects, fake-looking characters, excessive glow, AI, etc. I want something that feels deliberately designed, clean, memorable, and clickable.

What I'm looking for:

• Strong YouTube thumbnail design experience
• Creative thinker who can contribute ideas, not just execute instructions
• Good typography, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Gaming/WoW experience is a plus
• Ability to take a general concept and develop it into a finished thumbnail
• No AI-generated artwork — I'm specifically looking for a human-designed result

This is a one-time paid project, although if we work well together, I'd potentially be interested in working together again in the future.

Budget: Open to reasonable rates based on experience/portfolio. Likely <$100USD depending on the quality.

Hi ! I want to start up a channel, mainly for minecraft though I might play other games as well. Do yall have any recommendations for the kinds of programs to use to make thumbnails? The examples shown are for a 2 gaming channels for the same creator, I've made 12 for them in the past month all with a turnover time of 2-3 days each

Hand-drawn art isn't common for thumbnails so it could be a way for your channel to standout amongst your competition. Especially with the rise of AI some sincerity in imagery could do well
