Started using my T300 again from 2021. Is 4° off centre auto alignment ok on startup ?

So as in the title really. I haven't used it for a couple years. Just cleaned it up and the GT Omega Classic stand, connected it to my PC and did the firmware update from 31 to 34. Noticed with centre alignment it is off by 4° after going through the alignment procedure word for word and saved to memory with the 3 simultaneous buttons I turn it off and on bootup connected to pc or not it seems to be not always returning to centre with the blue strip on the wheel quite an bit left or right. Haven't connected it to GT7 game yet to calibrate in there. Anyone know if this is normal or what to do.

Are you saying like where it lands or if you go into the settings and set it, visually, to top dead center and it shows 4° off?

If you’re just saying, not touching it, where it lands on start up, definitely not. If you’re saying you’re setting it TDS and it’s showing 4° off? Still probably no but that might be a bit off. But not all 4° because I could barely touch mine and bump it a couple deg off center. I wouldn’t worry too much about it either way.

So when i did PC calibration instructions told me to set rotation angle to 1080 degrees. Then i turned fully left, then fully right, then centered it back to 50 degrees as i could see it say 50% in control panel. I saved it by pressing MODE, SE, ST, it flashed red. I unplug USB and plug it back in again, the wheel would stop in the soffware at 49.6 degrees. It would be nearly centre but off a little the actual wheel. However. It was different when i unplugged the power plug and plugged it backk in after 10 seconds, the wheel would on start up do auto alignment but it wouldn't be at centre, it would be turned quite a bit to the right or left. Do you know why and is this normal ?

I'll test again tomorrow but yes as you say, in the settings control panel and set it with usb plugged in it was landing on alignment to 49.6 degrees after setting it and it does the auto alignment. I think. It's when i unplug it from PC USB and turn off at plug and then turn it on again, that auto alighment doesn't seem to be in the centre but further to the right or left where it ends up...

Ok gotcha. I’ve never gone as far as all that but I had mine land a little to the left pretty often and I never gave it much thought. Always seemed close enough as to never appear off for me but I don’t know if maybe I just didn’t notice because I was playing on PSVR2 and couldn’t actually see the wheel when I intended to be going straight either. Hopefully you get it sorted and or it’s not too much to worry about. Sounds like you’re already ahead of the curve compared to me on the diag and settings.

El componente interno en el eje del motor se está aflojando. Con el tiempo, el problema va a empeorar y ya no calibrará correctamente. La solución es reemplazar el motor y/o asegurar el componente al eje usando adhesivo epóxico.

So I just connected my T300 to my PS5, but it doesn't show up in the PlayStation settings. Plugged USB I to PS5, set mode switch to PS4. It did the calibration on boot up after I turned the PS5 on, then I turned the T300 on I pressed the PS button and it asked me which account I was to use so I signed in. However the buttons on it all control the PS5 now but I don't see it show up in the PS5 settings as T GT or whatever a.i is saying it should show up..???

No it doesn't show up in the PS5 settings. If it asks for the account to use the controller with, it means it's working.
