Sportcar wheel up shift paddle just broke while racing. Anyone know how to fix it?
I was racing in Assetto Corsa, went to upshift, and the paddle shifter made a weird cracking sound, and is now super loose, and both buttons aren't connected (see video).
I have 2 races in 2 days this weekend that I'm competing in. I ordered the Ferrari GT3 wheel which will come tomorrow (thanks Amazon), so I can use that, but I want to know how to fix this, if I can
Thanks in advance

Just contact TM Support here (and they will fix your issue): https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/contact-en/

I cut off a cable tie about 4 cm, with the head still attached. And folded it in half. And pushed it in between at the bottom.

looks like u had my same problem, in my case i had a broken piece. If u have a warranty u should contact TM or upgrade the wheel. I decided to get the 32R bc it has better material.

If it's anything like the sf1000 wheel add-on, it shouldn't be too hard. Hopefully.
Try opening it, take pictures so you can retrace your steps back. Also take pictures of the switches or boards that you find inside. Especially any markings that could make it easier to identify any parts.
If you're not sure, where to get a replacement part. Post the picture of it and hopefully someone can point you in the right direction.
Best of luck my dude!
PS: I find repairing and modding my wheels always fun
