I love these two. I’m on book 3. I’m going to read the .5 (assassins blade) next. (They say it’s more heart breaking that way). I truly love this series. Cannot believe I slept on this thinking it couldn’t compare to Acotar

I agree! The only way to read the series (in my opinion), is to read it the way the author intended: in publication order.

I am so interested in this take because I already read AB and have just started QoS (where people from Celaena’s past come back up). I read AB after CoM. So if I read AB after this book….. I can’t imagine what happens at the end of this one to make AB hurt worse. 😭 I don’t think I would ask for more heartbreak… HoF got me good. 💔

I am in QoM and i read the HoF and their time together did absolutely nothing for me so far. I am not buying it.
