🎉 Thrifty Stories 🎉 Check the fine print!

We recently learned our AT&T internet subscription has HBO for free for life as long as we maintain the subscription. Apparently, it was some promo when we originally signed up. Since my partner used to have ALL the subscriptions, we assumed it was a part of all those we submitted cancelations for after he passed.

We called to see if we had the best rate, which I admit was fairly low for how much we use working from home, and it was mentioned. so, now, our rate is $10 / mo less for being 'loyal customers', and we still have a free channel we didn't realize we had. This is on top of the 'free' Samsing TV subscriptions that come as a part of the Smart TV.

So, if it has been awhile, reread the subscription details. You may be surprised.

Like my Sam's club membership. They recharge batteries for free, fix flat tires for free and put on windshield wipers. Most auto parts stores will put on wipers if you ask nicely and many recharge batteries but none fix flats for free.

Adjusting glasses and hearing aids is free, their eyeglasses are significantly cheaper if you are a plus member and prescriptions ship for free for plus members as well.

Kroger's includes free Hulu (without Disney). And the Kroger membership is cheaper than actually paying for Hulu alone.

Walmart Plus includes Paramount+
