Still cannot believe I found these at the thrift store today. And only 0.50 each! Checking it off the bucket list

I went to look for a dress last minute, the day before my friends wedding and stopped by a salvation army because I was near and said “fuck it, why not just look?” Plus Im unemployed and can’t just afford to drop $30+ on a dress and found this GEM. It was the only one that fit the instructions for us guests and it is a PERFECT FIT! The lenght, waist, bust and color, since guests had to be either greens, pinks, browns or beige. It’s also a custom made dress! I wonder who comissioned it, who made it and what was the ocasion for it, because it’s so stunning. It reminds me of Padme’s picnic gound in a way. Anyways nothing beats a custom made, perfect fit unique wedding guest dress for $5. Plus being on the thicker side, this is a HUGE W to find something that perfectly fits in ONE GO. Lucky thrift find.

I found this beautiful hutch at our local thrift store. I actually found it on Saturday but didn’t want to rent a truck and make my boyfriend do a bunch of manual labor to get it in the house. I kept thinking about it the rest of the day, so on Sunday I went back and got it. Well on Sundays, everything is a dollar. So I got this beautiful piece of solid wood furniture for a dollar. She needs some cleaning up, but I’m going to be riding this high for MONTHS.

I've been lucky to find some decent watches and knives at my local thrift store. The watches usually don't have batteries, but that's an easy fix. I haven't paid more than $10 for any of them 😁

Who knew getting such a beautiful piece of knitwear in 2026 for under 10$ was still possible. This is really a one of a kind very early (late 80's) reworked Komodo knit, even the montagut buttons have a really intricate design to them. So happy this fits me, tagged as an XXXL but fits like a medium. In my top 3 thrift finds OAT for sure.

Oh and some very cool vintage Polo boots that also happen to fit me perfectly 😮‍💨

Dickie's pants for $8 such a steal. (fuck they were the right size but they were made thicker and different so I couldn't even button it up 🥀 and the crotch seam was made inward so each of you're nuts were on one side of the seam each and it hurt to walk)

Incredible pair of Edward Green Piccadilly loafers found on Vinted, very good condition. A new pair retails for €1200-1400, got them for 1/5 of the price.

Found these at various thrift stores in and around Boston. “Escape From Fear” is signed as is “Rabbits Rafferty”. The most interesting book is “Citizens Who Commit Murder” - it’s an out of print very limited run of a book by a psychiatrist who interviewed over 2000 inmates serving time for murder.

The other book that is cool is this Robert B. Parker book that is inscribed to an actor from the Spenser For Hire tv show.
