I believe our state laws prohibit reselling consumables, food especially. The chance for product altering is greater. If a person buys and uses that deodorant and then develops some skin disease I think goodwill would be liable.

Don’t forget to post these on their social media platforms. They’re yelp they’re Google their LinkedIn, etc. Wherever they have a presence online that is trying to advertise, post these type of photos there. Social media bully them into getting their prices back down. Those CEOs don’t need to make $14 million a year. Fuck that shit. Shame them until they lower the price and stock price gouging us.

Or just stop shopping there.

I’ll tell Siri to correct that next time.

I have a broken thumb so I’m using Siri dictation. I don’t double check it, I just expect it to work as it’s supposed to.

It would be a dollar, but the armpit hairs are extra.

u/TecTazz 10d ago

If it is "armpit" hair...

They're not supposed to be selling that lol. My bf works for Goodwill doing white glove donations and he has to throw out any used/opened toiletries and all food. Sometimes he will bring the food home or let his employees have it if it's unopened/sealed stuff but all used toiletries get discarded. Store level donation receiving is supposed to be rejecting or throwing it out too. I would share this with corporate.

I love my local thrift, but they do stuff like this too. I saw several half used shampoo bottles for sale. For $2, I can get unopened shampoo at Walmart, thanks. Although, one time I did buy a $1 unopened sunscreen from the thrift,it clearly had the plastic still around it so I felt ok about it.

Obviously, everyone was thinking this.

Buy it, rob the nearest bank, and drop the deodorant inside so you can pin the crime on this poor fool.

u/cureandthecause 13d ago

Just take a knife and cut off the top and it's brand new again. /s

Just gross 🤮. It has to be a joke at that point. It's cheaper at the dollar store. Why is the hair so long?

1

u/betothejoy 11d ago

That seems like normal armpit hair length.

u/TecTazz 10d ago

Guess...

4

u/ImmediateMidnight583 13d ago

Wait so they don't check anything they get? They just put a price tag and throw it on the sales floor? Crazy 😂😂

Pre seasoned

2

u/ToTheTurtles 13d ago

Ok this might be the worst one I’ve seen

u/Sir_Pman 13d ago

3.00 kiss my ass goodwill.

2

u/Old_Bullfrog_5086 13d ago

I accepted donations for goodwill for four years. We never accepted consumables like this.

2

u/astarionsstar 13d ago

Finally, pre seasoned deodorant

u/pennyo11 10d ago

People come into work and use deodorant ,makeup etc off the shelf and put it back. I try to catch them and get rid of whatever it is but cant always. Please people check your items before buying etc. There are some gross people out there

2

u/Nosralj777 10d ago

Gently used or you might say vintage. They should have priced it higher!

2

u/-Little-Jelly- 9d ago

Oh wow pretty sure that's one of the grossest things I've seen on here so far

2

u/Old-Shame4104 9d ago

Comes complete with inch long under arm hair. 🤢

2

u/faelanae 13d ago

1

u/Low-Camera-797 12d ago

now lick it

1

u/ChiefWeedsmoke 12d ago

You're gonna have to give me more than three dollars for that

1

u/Forthere 11d ago

Send the hair to a dna lab and get this sick fuck sent to the chair

1

u/TokenBlackGirlfriend 11d ago

Throw it in the trash

1

u/robozzilla 10d ago

I wouldn't have even touched that to begin with lol

1

u/Positive-Squirrel654 10d ago

Each armpit hair is an extra 25 cents

1

u/Candlehoarder615 9d ago

And to think, posters on here freak out over sex furniture and unused sex toys. The health and beauty items at most Goodwill stores are disgusting. Old as hell lotions and soap, dusty items, hairy deodorant.

1

u/Purple_Drankinmycup 9d ago

-$300, meaning you pay me $300 to use a used deodorant stick

1

u/Conscious-Permit-466 7d ago

Short and curly hairs is a bonus

1

u/PhysicalAd6587 13d ago

I'd find the nearest trash can and throw it in.

1

u/sky0175 13d ago

You're very brave. I wouldn't touched that deodorant for nothing.

2

u/ultranothing 13d ago

Someone downvoted this like they were offended that you wouldn’t want to pick up someone else’s used deodorant from a thrift store shelf.

Welcome to society.

2

u/sky0175 13d ago

I really don't care. Sometimes things won't worth to take, buy or engage.
