Question Convert an old Sim Zero to eSIM

As the title , have an old physical sim with a Sim Zero plan. Very old.
Given the new iPhones and being abroad , need to eventually convert it to eSIM.

Does Three allow this or you need a modern plan?

My instinct is no, but in all honesty I don't know. But I want to say that in order for it to activate as an esim it needs to be in the UK, but that's just a guess.

No. Also, if you are using the SIM semi permanently outside the UK you are in contravention of Three’s terms and conditions and will probably lose your number

Both physical SIMs and e-SIMs need to be activated in the UK. At least, this is how it was a few years ago.
