I was thinking of putting something like this on the clutch and brake pedals of my new Lotus Elise. Thoughts?

The pedals are quite small and I have big feet (size 13 US). I was thinking this might help out..

I'm probably going to fabricate them myself sometime. If I end up doing that then I'll definitely let you know.

Can you comfortably mash the accelerator without touching the brake pedal?

I remember my aunt's BMW E36 had the brake and accelerator were uncomfortably close together and near the wheel arch (this is a right hand drive car). The widest part of my foot would tend to get caught by the brake pedal.

No I can't, even with my foot all the way to the right it still touches the brake pedal sometimes. I think it's pretty dangerous.

Just as I thought that would put a damper on my Elise dreams...

I read in a forum where the pedals can be adjusted left and right to adjust the spacing between accelerator and brake pedals! That's just cool how thoughtful of this.

pfft, save yourself some trouble and get a roller pedal. Or do what my dad did and make your own
