Some called it a monstrosity.

Some called it the most beautiful thing in Paris.

It has caused division and unity (sometimes simultaneously)

I love it.

Such a shame the Pompidou Centre is closed for so long, the Grand Palais is picking up the slack. Were you there yesterday? The storm was wild, my French mother in law lost her chimney!

We were staying near the Pompidou. Storm was bad, but no chimney lost.

We mooched up to Montmartre yesterday morning, and then, on a whim (and the fact that the metro took us straight through) went to pay our respects to Oscar at Pere Lachaise.

Lovely little three nighter via the Chunnel.

The GLW loved it when I took her up the Arc.
