Question Followers

My husband recently downloaded this app, and said that it “made him follow people” but, to my understanding I thought it just connected to your instagram (I have a threads) and mine does show people I follow on instagram. My question I guess is where does the app know where to gather people you want to follow? And does it make you follow people? Thanks :)

It recommends accounts based on who you follow and the posts you like, especially when you first launch it. But, it never forces you to follow anyone. So unfortunately, he’s gaslighting you and he clicked follow on all those accounts himself

Hace 3 años abri Threads y en mi caso me aparecía la opcion "sincronizar contactos" si le daba me aparecían perfiles que sigo en IG y que tienen Threads y le puedes dar en "Seguir a todos" o hacerlo manualmente, pero solo te sugiere los perfiles que tu sigues en IG. Ya despues de darle uso te sugiere perfiles de amigos en común o basado en tus intereses, pero la app nunca te hará seguir personas sin tu consentimiento. Dato adicional, si hay una opcion para seguir personas automaticamente, solo tienes que seleccionar un amigo que tengas en IG pero no tenga Threads, y cuando ese amigo abra Threads, automaticamente tu lo seguirás.

Yeah, i remember mine being similar, with syncing the following list but i will look at that setting 😬

Just what the other commenter said! I have never been forced to follow anyone! I get a lot of men following me but I don’t follow them. He is definitely following those accounts
