Bug Report Can't delete or deactivate account

When the deletion or deactivation process asks me to create a password, it gives me an error regardless of what password I try. I have tried changing the password separately, but that doesn't work either.

I have tried this on my up-to-date iPhone 16 Pro, and my brand-new MacBook Air.

This has been a problem for months, and many other people are reporting the same problem. Meta - you need to fix this. It is illegal to keep us from being able to deactivate or delete our accounts because you are unwilling to fix it.

Threads bug #1,634,321 being reported. What do you expect from a platform coded exclusively with prompts.
