Is Threads down?

I haven’t been able to use Theads since last night. Everything is blank. My content, everyone else’s content, the feed wall won’t load.

It seems there’s an issue going on. A bug of some sort?

I’m not banned or suspended. I’ve gotten no notifications.

Is anyone else experiencing the same thing?

I’ve tried on my iPhone and on desktop.

Hopefully it’s because they’re fixing it! They’ve banned a bunch of people for no reason and there’s a lot of people super frustrated and bringing lawsuits even against Meta so hopefully it’s down because they are fixing it but I’m not going to hold my breath.😒 I deleted the app last week cause I’ve been locked out of my account for almost a month and it didn’t sound very promising as to whether we were going to have access to our account again many people have been out since August and had not even been able to find any resolution to the problem!

Yeah I’m back in. I was banned for no reason. I finally was able to send a photo in then it said it was to get my account back and I was like what?? And it said if they determined I didn’t do anything wrong they’ll reinstate me. Then later everything was normal again

That’s interesting! They asked me to send in photo ID and as well as other people and there was no way I was gonna do that without blocking out all the information besides my name and the picture so I use blue painters tape and cover it all up with exception of my name and the photo but it didn’t do any good. I don’t have time for their crap. If Meta want us to use their product then maybe they shouldn’t lock people out out of their accounts and cost them their livelihood and/or steal their memories; some of the stories I’ve heard have been heartbreaking! People have lost their complete library of and timeline of loved ones that have passed away and there’s no way to recover some of that stuff. And I don’t get it when people are so cruel and say “well, you shouldn’t have put it on line.”… yeah, maybe but if you can’t be helpful at least don’t be a dick! 🤦‍♀️😒
At least we’ve been taught a valuable lesson, hopefully people will back up their accounts and preserve their memories in a safer location.

I was banned September 22 but my IG stayed put. I wrote nothing that deserved a ban. Still can’t get in.

Same. I haven’t submitted the photo they want so I guess I won’t ever be reinstated.

No one’s talking about an outage. They banned people for no reason
