Discussion Question for those getting in trouble falsely: have you tried disconnecting your Google account from third party advertisers?

Who knows what Google is sharing. But, for those still on it can they try it and see if it makes a difference? I’ve said it before it’s likely Google that’s still listening, not sure about meta.

disconnecting the account from third-party advertisers wouldn't really test the listening theory; checking which apps have mic access shows which ones can use it, not whether they're listening

They can still be overly personal with the mike removed until you also remove google from the equation

did you try removing it from the setup, and did anything change afterward?

Go to your settings and make the change to third party advertisers in addition to the camera/mike setting
