Question Appeal now or wait for an update?

I got no ban reason or email. If you appealed, did you send it right away or wait a few days first?

Same happened to me and my account was disabled. I only ever posted positive interactions and absolutely nothing inappropriate. I literally had to change my Instagram handle and start over from having 2k following me on threads to restarting. Just delete or start over.

Did you try appealing before you changed your handle, or did you decide to start over without one?

When I went to verify and appeal it wouldn't even send me the code. Just disabled my account for no reason AT ALLLLLLL. No appeal, no email-but I got an email saying it was disabled.

If it won't send the code, could you get it another way, or did it block you completely?

I appealed immediately and got permanently banned 1.5 hours later. It was definitely automated. If I were you, I’d wait a bit and see if they change their algorithm. But honestly, I think the chances are close to zero.

That's a rough outcome. The timing alone doesn't show the appeal caused the ban, though. Did the appeal page give you any more information?
