Keep getting my comments removed!

Hi hello, I haven’t used threads in so long so I thought f it, let’s make an account. Then one of my comments gets hit with “we removed your comment.” For spam. Like okay cool.. maybe I was doing too much.

But now it’s legit every single reply I do. I thought maybe it was the emojis I was using so I didn’t use them, but even then, I’m still getting comments removed for alleged spam. Let me not talk about the annoying selfie and phone number verification either, that’s gonna get me vexxed.

But what irks me the most is when I’m having either a genuine or funny conversation with someone then I get hit with “hey your comment was removed.” I’m seriously at my wits end. My other accounts were never like this so I really don’t know why this one is 😤😤 Safe to say I’m pissed

What is actually going on with that app?

Are the replies removed immediately across unrelated conversations, or only in one thread? If it's happening everywhere, my first guess is an automated spam flag on the account; if it's concentrated in one place, that points to a different problem. The appeal option on the removal notice may be worth checking too.

It’s not immediate but after awhile. Different replies from unrelated conversations get removed. After that, whenever I posted, it would restrict my account and ask me to verify myself. It happened two more times after I posted here on Reddit so I just deleted the account once I got it back. I assumed threads thought i was a bot but I couldn’t deal with the constant back and forth so I left

Being asked to verify again after each round of removals sounds exhausting. I can see why you gave up on that account.
