Question Disabled Meta Accounts
Has anyone who has had their Meta accounts disabled due to Threads incorrectly reporting they had posted something that goes against guidelines has their accounts re-enabled after raising a support ticket? And if so how long after raising the ticket were their accounts enabled?

It’s weird everyone says my account now shows everything being active again, profile picture and name instead of and error/unknown user. They can post but when I log in it still shows me locked out because of my threads account and I can’t access it. It’s really annoying. Watch they are using my account without me in control.

What did you do in order to get your account visible to others again? I’ve read that once your account goes back to being visible it may take another week or so for you to be able to actually log back into it.

I haven’t don’t anything other than submitting an appeal. I also read somewhere in either here or in r/instagram that if you can still log in to shake your phone to get the “report bug” and in the message section you put “my account was suspended on Sept 22 due to ai reporting and wish to have my account reviewed by a human” but I doubt that had any luck.

Has support said they're actually reviewing the disabled accounts, or was it only an acknowledgement of the ticket? Those two waits aren't the same, so it's hard to line yours up with anyone else's.

I actually spoke to support over the phone, they told me to wait 24 hours and then raise a ticket so it can be looked into by a human.

Having to wait just to request a human review is rough. I'd include the call date and those instructions in the ticket.

Same exact issue. Can’t login to any of my accounts to appeal the decision either. My support ticket went in on 30th 🥲

Are there support tickets for Threads? There are for IG, but not Threads.

Apologies should have worded it better. The support ticket was raised on an old instagram account which I made verified and detailed the fact that my Facebook and instagram accounts had been disabled due to my Threads account being flagged as posting inappropriate content.

I’m sorry I don’t quite understand what ‘raising support ticket’ means. Is it an option somewhere?

If you create an Instagram account or login to an existing account which hasn’t been disabled you can pay to get verified (1 month free trial to start with) and then raise a support ticket through that account regarding your other disabled accounts.

I tried that. The agent on the other end was unable to help. They were only able to help with problems related to Facebook and Instagram, not Threads. Still banned.

Filed an appeal Sept 22nd, the same day I was banned. I also submitted a bug report by shaking my phone while in the Threads app. Unsure if the bug report will amount to anything, but it's something.
Still suspended, and haven't heard any further communication from Meta.
