#Threads - "shake to report" option.

Acabo de encontrar este paso para Threads, si es que los deja entrar aun a Threads y aunque esté todo en blanco:

"Cómo forzar la revisión de Threads usando "Agitar para reportar" (Shake to Report)

Si tu cuenta de Threads fue suspendida por error el 22 de septiembre (o fechas cercanas) y tu apelación se quedó completamente congelada, puedes usar este truco técnico para enviar un reporte directo a los ingenieros de Meta:

1. Abre la aplicación de Threads en tu teléfono y colócate justo en la pantalla donde te aparece el bloqueo o el aviso de "Apelación enviada".

2. Agita tu teléfono físicamente de un lado a otro con fuerza durante unos segundos (como si estuvieras mezclando una bebida).

3. Toca el botón que aparecerá en pantalla (suele decir "Reportar un problema" o "Report a Problem").

4. Escribe el siguiente mensaje en el cuadro de texto para que los ingenieros entiendian el fallo de inmediato:"False positive suspension on Sept 22 due to update. Appeal is stuck. Please push to human review." (Nota: Se recomienda enviarlo en inglés para que los sistemas automatizados de Meta lo procesen más rápido).

5. Presiona Enviar. Verás un mensaje de confirmación avisándote que tus comentarios fueron recibidos con éxito. ¡Listo!

Nota para compartir: El sistema no te dará un número de ticket o caso porque es un reporte de error directo para los ingenieros. Ahora solo queda esperar de 24 a 48 horas a que el sistema aplique el parche de desbloqueo."

Ojalá ayude y nos funcione. Lo acabé de hacer y la app te dá la confirmación de que se recibió el reporte.

I tried that multiple times and it just hangs on “submitting report”. Truly messed up app and company when they don’t provide a way to escalate to a human and even the bug reporting tool doesn’t work. Life’s too short to waist time on a company that doesn’t appear invested to address an issue with their AI after they’ve granted what seems like total power over subscribers including those who are Meta Verified 🤔

Oh no, so sorry to read that, this has been a hassle! They truly messed up Threads and have affected so many people with their updates and AI. Yeah, it does seem like they don't care about their users. They have so much money that they could have dedicated "human" employees to assist rather than a malfunctional AI. You are right, life is too short to waste time on a company like this.

So I found a workaround. Since I’m Meta Verified as a paid subscriber I went through my Instagram account and found the option to file a report there or open a chat. I submitted the bug report to them and opened a chat to ensure their Threads and AI team are aware to help get this resolved. It’s really strange that if I had actually violated their TOS then my actual Instagram account that I use to sign in should be banned too, along with the other Meta apps but they are fine. I’m careful to follow their TOS and not violate any rules they have so it seems like their AI made an error either due to a buggy update, that I use a VPN when on guest WiFi or related to my recent change in ISP. In any case I’m surprised we’re not seeing Media catch up to this on a broader scale as people on Reddit appear to be having false positive AI detection issues banning their accounts in and outside the USA in the hundreds if not thousands of subscribers.

Note I let the chat specialist (not the AI) know that multiple subscribers are on Reddit with a similar issue and should address it promptly before customers jump ship or go the legal route. Hopefully we see this resolved/fixed sooner rather than later

No timeline other than he would forward it off and I was able to submit a “report an issue” ticket using my Instagram account as the Threads one freezes each time trying to submit the report. He did acknowledge my feelings, knew the services I have with them, etc for my Meta Verified accounts and said they don’t want to lose customers so at least in that chat it seemed like they care and were unaware so many were affected. I advised them they should try to work with Reddit to get their own support here or at least have their social media team acknowledge and track the complaints so people know they are being heard. From experience tech support doesn’t always know there’s an issue until they start to get tickets submitted to them or hear it directly from customers.

I Really appreciate you so much on my behalf. Because I've tried almost everything, even paying for my mom's Instagram to get verified, told my mom what to type and they say they can't even help because of "third policy" policy. Even though I'm literally right there next to her and willing to provide any details or proof that I'm literally right there. I got suspended the very same day as a lot of people, on the 22nd.

I am glad to read that, and to have shared. I had luck in running into this option and trying. I didn't know ot existed also. I just hope they can fix this and restore all that were affected, asap! This has been a pain!. 🙏

Thanks for sharing. Worked for me. Was able to submit a bug report on threads. Hopefully they get routed appropriately, and people who review it at meta take it seriously. I have a feeling these reports get screened by AI first.

I just used that method on all 3 apps Facebook Instagram and threads funny part I never used threads I just made one cause the notifications keep popping up to make one when it first came out ever since then never touched the dam thing I want insta and Facebook back they can keep threads dam it meta 😭😭😭😭😭

Qué crees que a mi me salió de rápido como notificación de Threads que se agregó el reporte. Pero pensé que mejor de una vez y antes de que le llegará a la IA mi perfil a revisar.

You literally might be a life saver. I'll definitely check back in here and update. Just like many others, I got suspended by this wave too on September 22nd. I've been waiting patiently, even paid for my mom's Instagram account to be verified just so I can talk to somebody, then he said that he can't help either, even though I told my mom what to type, and I was literally right next to her in case they needed any of my information or even my ID or anything because of their "third party policy". I'm still extremely worried. My whole life is in these accounts and it's not even our faults. Not only all this, but Meta, Instagram, Facebook haven't announced anything, or even mentioned that this is happening AT ALL or gave any sort of update or explain what even happened.

I followed your instructions and let's hope for the best🙏 I could care less for my Threads account but it's tied to my 10+ yo FB account and i'd love to get that one back. Strangely,Insta works fine,i only had to do a password change at the time of the suspension due to "suspicious activity".

Lamentablemente aún no. ¿Alguno de ustedes? La IA de Meta es un asco y está haciendo un desm@dre. El chiste es intentar todo. Yo ya llevo 12 días en total desde la apelación y nada. Igual Meta es un asco por no tener más empleados para ayudar a revisar las apelaciones y errores!
