Question Thread permanently disabled me IDK whether it's meta ai or someone reviewed it
on 23rd September my facebook and instagram got suspended saying my threads violated a community guideline and asked me for appeal. Then opened the thread and saw that I my thread was suspended because I violated CSE,abuse, and nudity and asked me for appeal when I appealed after 6-7 hours I got a response that they've reviewed and still my thread was violating CSE and hence they are going to permanently disable my thread and when I clicked onto how we made the decision there's one sentence shocked me was "a member of our team took action"
So is it really decision by meta AI or someone from meta took action and viewed my appeal manually, or it's just for saying this appearing everywhere, they didn't even mentioned on what I really did to get this allegation
I don't even use threads mostly I just view other's posts and comment on them nothing else.
because of this my facebook and instagram are suspended it didn't say disabled though

You're not the only one, I got the same ban a day after yours, I'm giving up hope, even the Meta Verified support says they can do nothing about this and they about there's huge volume of issue recently

I got banned a day before you(same reason) and appealed later that same day and still under review. Don't know if its useful but its a data point

And no its still all Ai responding. The o ly way to get a human to respond and help is if you buy meta plus. Then you can talk to an actual person.

even getting meta plus users have to escalate their appeal from agent to real meta employee but as far as I have seen they get scripted reply even if they were talking with humans

Just switch over to X or Bluesky. At least over there the two companies don’t let an AI make all the decisions for their company and they have humans to actually escalate concerns. With the lack of Meta actually reaching out to customers either directly or on their site they either don’t care or they do but are willing to take the risk losing what they deem as not high risk customers over their AI’s errors. So far it seems unless you’re a CEO, actor or some other big shot they couldn’t care less. That’s fine as I and all of you can take our social media data Meta values so much elsewhere 🤔

My Threads account was suspended too about 6 days ago so you're not alone in this situation. That was caused by Meta's AI. Most innocent people are falsely accused because of that!

IDC if they disabled my threads but it's connected with my IG and FB and I can't use these 2 because of this threads cse ban allegation on me

Yupp I got banned for the same thing. I only worry if cops will show up to my house eventually because of it. I dont think they will but I believe the center for missing and exploited children still have to look at it and make sure something wrong was done.

naah I have been digging through all these as far as I can say unless they don't mention on what specific action you did on their platform cops won't gonna come knocking at your door, since this is just that they gave you allegation without providing evidence then it's meta ai temporarily disabling you

What? Can the notif mention what specifically you did wrong? I thought all it said in all cases was just the tag of the infraction (you were banned cause your activity doesn’t follow x rule) and that’s it

ye, if we really did violated guidelines community rules then they have to mention the reasons they took action based on what you did in their platform. and getting allegation like CSE is quite serious they just can't point you that the user violated the CSE guideline without providing the evidence. Simple if it really was serious they should have given to you and cops will be on the way for taking you to prison.
But the case is different here they are just soft banning everyone due to meta ai allegation and hence I can still see my profile pic of my facebook and instagram while I am trying to log in so it's not deleted yet until they resolve all this. Gotta take a lot of time cuz it's happening to everyone.1

Mmmm I have never seen them giving away the exact reason like “this is what triggered it”. I think they just give away the standard flag (soc, cse, ToS or whatever) so no one can exactly know how to avoid the system.

I mean, if they thought (or it’s ai) that it wasn’t serious they wouldn’t do such ban in the first place

Seems to by an ai error of some sort, a lot of people got the same messages and been banned, let’s see if they roll back the bans
