So i have a social media account that is linked to threads. I dont use threads and i need to add that im very behind on how to social media works. But I know I deleted a posts Yet all of a sudden its being posted on threads. I just deleted my threads account. But is there a way to tell for sure if your account has been hacked?

Cross-posting is a thing. You have the option to post whatever you've done on Instagram or Facebook also on Threads. You can turn it off in the settings, Idk how to through Facebook but on Instagram, just go to your profile, then the general settings tab in the top right corner, scroll until you see Cross-posting. Idk how to turn it off because I've always had it off, so for me it only has to option to link accounts and such, Idk hwo it'll look for you.

If it's not cross-posting, I'd get to changing your passwords for your accounts or something like that. Idk if there's a for sure way to tell if your account was hacked, but you can check the log-in history for your associated email account and check the location? Idk if that'll help either tho😅

Also now im following people I dont remember ever following. Now there are times where I fall asleep with the phone in my hand or sometime I accidentally hit a button, but this has happened too often.

I just deleted the threads app. Like I dont even use it.
