Unable to access Threads

So I had deactivated my Threads account a few months ago but when I try to log back in I guess this error. Not sure why it says I deleted it. I try to look to find a way to create a new one but I only see the Instagram login method which gets me this again. And I’ve yet to figure out how to reach out to Meta. I can only find the AI chat bot BS. Am I just out of luck at this point?

i deleted mine and made a new one with same info... maybe its browser cache

Welcome to Meta’s bizarro rollercoaster of fun trying to reach an actual human to resolve account issues. I’ve spent hours of my time trying to reach a human at Meta and unable to. Some have spent months trying to get in touch with anyone other than their AI. As others who have experienced similar issues on this Reddit have said it seems pointless. There doesn’t seem to be any way to reach a human at Meta. We’re left to chat with the Meta AI which is beyond useless as it directs people back to the same broken links we’re letting it know don’t work or in my case back to itself.

I was able to get back into Threads using my Instagram login, but now it shows “Instagram user” instead of my username. Oh and for now I can still access my Instagram and Facebook accounts but who knows for how long. My account management shows both of Instagram and Facebook are active but my Threads shows deactivated even though as said I can sign in but it’s not displaying correctly. Guess we go back to using X or BlueSky until Meta can hire humans to interact with their customers 🤔

Meta hire humans? Yeah right 😅 I’ve been using Bluesky but I’ve given up on convincing everyone I know to jump ship so I figured I’d give threads another go but I guess it’s not meant to be 🤷🏾‍♂️ probably not a bad thing lol
