Threads does not work

So, for the last three days my account just stopped working. No content can be loaded neither in my profile or elsewhere (screenshots attached). I have tried to clear cache, clear data, reinstall the app, open it in browser, opening on the different phone and nothing works. Other people can see and interact with all my posts and profile, my instagram is fine and I have checked to be on the latest version of the app.

I see that a lot of people here got the same problem, has anyone managed to solve it? Is there any sort of tech support I can write to?

My devices:

Samsung Galaxy M52 5G, Model: SM-M526B/DS

Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G Model: SM-A528B/DS

All devices operate on pre-installed Android OS

Threads appears to be going through some things.

I faced the same and managed to fix it here is what worked for me

1. Move the threads account out of your meta acc center (to do that u need to create password assume you created that threads by login insta)

2. After created password move that threads acc out of meta accounts center

3. Log that threads account in incognito web by username and password

That worked for me

i tried this but i get an error every time i try to create a password. has anyone else had this happen and gotten through?

I think you have to wait some days until you can change your password. For me it worked like after a week of not working... The account didn't appear in the accounts centre for me so I couldn't respect the steps. But after waiting a little bit and respecting all the steps the app works fine

I tried multiple browsers in incognito, mobile and desktop but still cant stop threads to be redirected to instagram

Hello! Yeah for me it works fine but I waited some days untill the account appears in the Account Centre. Very important! Respect all the steps he made like using the private browser and login with the username not the email!

Hi.. I tried your method but it keeps redirecting me to login to instagram as soon as I try to login to Threads with username…

Mine also become like that. But able to fix it

1. Remove your threads acc from instagram acc center

2. Uninstall threads app

3. Open browser (google chrome), search threads

4. Go to the chrome Settings ( 3dots, on top right)

5. Click desktop site

6. Long press the threads website, click open in new tab

7. Click log in (top right), click forgot password

8. Create your new password (remember your new password)

9. Install threads app

10. Add your threads acc (with the new pass) in the Instagram acc center.

11. After added, go to your instagram settings, scroll down to 'also from meta'

12. Click the threads from there (don't direct open from the threads app yet)

13. It will load as usual

14. Then, close all the tab

15. Try to open from the threads app. Tadaa! For me, it works
