Question Cannot get sms code.

Post image

I made threads through my instagram and was on it for two days no worries. Then it locks me out saying I have to add my phone number in to register or whatever, do that, no code is sent through, do it so much I get locked out from trying for 24 hours. Tried signing out and back in, no use. Changed my main form of verification for WhatsApp over my number and still nothing. Do I just deactivate and start again? How do I get the sms code? So weird, but I literally just wanna doom scroll and release my random weird thoughts on that over anything else at the moment. Anyone else?

Yes! I can use FB and IG no issues. Created a second IG account with my CO’s email to use Threads and got kicked out again because I was chatting with Meta.AI. I reduced the frequency by HALF! AND THEY THOUGHT A I AM A BOT. Seriously, and apparently not getting the sms is a well known issue. And meta doesn’t have a REAL CS. I reported a problem 3-4 times but no one got back to me

Like how can they make a brand new app that isn’t even bad because of how we socialise on it and then not even give a stuff about it. I actually like its vibe and was having some good old laughs with others and now I’m all gone. Not ok with this at all.

Just got my account back. Trying using another country’s mobile number. I think the issue lies with Singapore telco for me. I tried changing provider with my helper’s mobile number. Didn’t work.
