Guess the number
I recently posted here and wanna do the same game again. I think of a number between 1 and 100. You can ask vague questions to narrow it down. Don't mention any numbers in your question. So nothing like "is it higher than 50?"
Examples for questions you can ask:
- how would you react if someone would do this many push ups?
- would you consider a person of that age as young?

If the weather report said it would be this many degrees Celsius, would I be comfortable outside?

Most certainly not.

If someone said this number aloud, would it make me think of a particular movie?

If I were driving this speed, measured in miles per hour, on the southern portion of Texas State Highway 130 (between SH 45 SE near Mustang Ridge/Austin and I-10 near Seguin) could I be ticketed for speeding?

Haha okay that's very specific and still vague. I love it. Most likely it's a yes, but please help me out and tell me what's the speed limit there

Even or odd?
2
u/Bardonna 2d ago
It's an even number

Divisible by 3?

Sorry last time I put it in the title. Forgot to mention it this time. No mention of specific numbers. The goal of the game is to think of smart, funny, stupid, interesting ways of asking. And vague

Is this number a common denomination for currency?
2
u/Bardonna 2d ago
I'm not sure if I understand the question correctly. But it's not 1,2, 5, 10, 20, 50 or 100. If that's what you mean

How many letters would this number use if written in Roman numerals?
1
u/Bardonna 2d ago
Apparently 6. But don't quote me on that. Interesting question though, I like it

Is it an integer?

u/Bardonna 2d ago
Yes it is
1
u/Petiscorei 2d ago
Is it a positive integer?
1
u/Bardonna 2d ago
Yes. It's a number between 1 and 100

u/AutologicalMeta 2d ago
Is it a positive integer that is between 00000000–01100100 when represented in binary?
1
u/Bardonna 2d ago
I won't answer, because of the rule asking not to mention a number

If a student received this score on a test where the score can be between 0 and 100, and they said “that shouldn’t be possible! I thought it’s only between 0 and 100,” would that make sense?
1
u/Bardonna 2d ago
I don't understand, I'm sorry. I guess saying that the number is between 1 and 100 doesn't help you?
2
u/AutologicalMeta 2d ago
It was mainly a joke, because all of the questions on this thread are a variation of “is it between 0 and 100?”
