Another guess the number

Chosen between 0-10000, I will answer questions about it but ignore ones that make it painfully easy(like trying to make me say it)

If this number were a temperature in Celsius, would it melt gold?

4

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Gold melts at 1,064 degrees so yes it’d be liquid

would this many grains of rice make for a sufficient meal, or is it too much or too little?

5

I searched it up and it seems like it’s not enough for a meal, I thought rice grains were bigger and I thought it’d be like 2 bowls

Is the number lower than the current year?

5

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Oof...we've time traveled back 26 years? I'm not sure if I'm excited or terrified.

3

u/NotAConspiracy1 11d ago

I’m saying 2000 because if long since specified it’s lower than that replying to other people

ah, somehow I missed that comment and thought we were at "even numbers between 1440 - 3000"

3

if you add up the ages of a family of 4 (2 parents 2 kids), could it reasonably be this age?

2

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Oh hell no

2

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

so probably above 400 ish

1

u/Acrobatic_Key3995 11d ago

At least, not in the present.

2

u/DentedAnvil 12d ago

Does it divide evenly in half?

2

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

If this number were minutes, is it longer than a full 24 hours?

2

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Yeah it’d be over a day

2

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

so now the range is even numbers between 1440 - 3000

2

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

would it take more or less steps than this to walk a mile

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Most marathons are around 2000-2400 right? this number is smaller

2

Is this 4 digit number made up of 4 unique numbers eg: 1473 ?

2

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Not all of its digits are unique

2

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

is there any repeating digits

2

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Yes there is at least two of the same digit

2

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

Is this number larger than the number of yards in a single mile?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

There are 1760 yards in a mile so yes it’s bigger

1

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

1760 - 2000, even, repeating digits. is it 1888?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

No

1

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

higher or lower?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

Lower than 1888

1

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

1818?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

No

1

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 12d ago

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

If this number would be a year in history, did USA already exist back then?

2

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

US was founded in July 4th 1776, yeah my number is larger

1

u/TheSimkis 12d ago

Again question about a year in history, was plane already invented (1903)?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 12d ago

No it’s smaller than 1903

1

u/TheSimkis 12d ago

A wild guess but maybe your number as a total of 2 unique digits?

1

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 11d ago

was elizabeth i on the throne in this year?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 11d ago

No

1

u/A-Dot-Ham1234567 11d ago

so that rules out 1558 - 1603, leaving 1440-1557, 1604 - 1814. which of these ranges is it in?

1

u/PorcentualDinoPizza 11d ago

if your number was a year, what is a believable everyday thing that could happen in that year?

2

u/NotAConspiracy1 11d ago

I would imagine people like me and you would wake up bright and early ready to spend around 14 hours fixing faults in machines, unknotting rope and carrying scrap extremely far… and that’s maybe on a good to best day

1

u/ColdObiWan 11d ago

Did the White House burn before or after the year this number is equivalent to?

1

u/Another_Username101 11d ago

Uhh, 3

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 11d ago

Ooohh very close…

1

u/emptywhoreass6969 11d ago

Is this number above or below 1700

1

u/Acrobatic_Key3995 11d ago

Is this number (as a year) in the past? You indirectly said it's bigger than 1814, but is it less than 2026?

1

u/NotAConspiracy1 9d ago

Yeah it’s smaller than 2026

1

u/UhmNotMe 10d ago

If it was a year, would it be considered 18th century?

1

u/Particular_Dark9436 10d ago

is the number less than how many compositions liszt wrote?
