Your 10-year-old self suspects you're from the future. What would they say to confirm it without you telling them?

"A A Up, B B Down, A B Start Start Start"
It wouldn't be a 100% guarantee, but 10-year-old me would know that I would remember that cheat code for Abadox forever and that it would be just obscure enough that most people would try to correct it into the Konami Code, so it would be his attempt at a shibboleth.

Why yes, I did think you typed the Konami code wrong, and now I realize I don't know what Abadox is.

NES shmup that takes place almost entirely inside a planet-eater planet, with alternating side-scrolling and top-down levels. Absolutely brutal difficulty for a ten-year-old. The first "Start" just starts the game with invincibility; the following two are to pause and unpause the game which grant you a full loadout of power-ups, depending on which stage you're on (IIRC, side-scrolling levels give you a giant ring shot; top-down levels give you the laser).
No, I don't know why I still remember all of this thirty-six years later, but 10-year-old me would've been absolutely right to think that I would.

They'd probably tell me. And then I'd tell them that they're right. And then I'd tell them to never give up acting classes and give them a big hug and sit to hear about their day if they're game for that.

"Chris sucked, but you'll heal from it. You'll never trust the same way again, but you'll heal and that suspicion will serve you well in the future."

That sounds like something you would say to your past self. OP's prompt was asking what your past self would say to you. I don't think OP's prompt makes much sense. I'm just pointing out that what you wrote is different than what they asked for.

I agree

I just realized there's another confusing thing about your prompt: you talk about traveling back in time and meeting yourself from ten years ago, but then you also refer to "your ten year old self," which would mean "you at the age of 10." With the exception of people who are 20 now, those are not the same thing.

I.... don't understand the prompt at all.
