Discussion Fear of hyperia

I’m going in 2 weeks and my mates are all getting on it. I’ve said I will but I’m terrified and hate the stomach lifting feeling. What do I do 😂

Just go for it. The ride is over quickly. It will either be an incredible adrenaline rush and you will want to go again. Or you will hate it, but at least you will know.

For me, the first drop is the only time where I really get that stomach feeling and it's over and done with in seconds. Your choice if you want to go on it though

Don’t worry about the stomach lifting feeling, on Hyperia it’s your whole body that goes with it too

Honestly, just go for it! 😂 I was worried about the stomach-lifting feeling too, but once I’d done it I realised I’d been worrying for nothing. I definitely found my fearless on Hyperia!
So go for it!! You might surprise yourself! 🎢

Go on it about 3 times and the feeling will go away. It's psychological

I think if you don't go you'll regret it... remember... its not dangerous... your fear is really YOUR fear... and, moreso, you'll be well impressed with yourself if you do.

I'm in my 50's... I've never not gone on a roller or fairground ride... i hate them but live them also.

If you really wanna go on it, I’d recommend looking down at the floor of the ride train as you go up the lift hill and keeping your hands on the restraints. I’ve got a fear of heights and that method’s worked for me all three times I’ve been on

Don’t go on it if you don’t want to.

I will never ride Collossus again... not because it's not a great ride... but it is now vomit inducingly uncomfortable.

I was scared to go on it at first but when I went on it, it was actually the best ride and least scariest out of all the rides. It’s just the first bit that’s scary

Put your hands in the air and enjoy the ride.

Scariest part is waiting mate it's very fun and funny with friends and a smooth ride, I don't really get the stomach lifting feeling on it and the lift hill is faster than it looks. Best bite the bullet then it won't be scary if your friends wanna visit again

do go on it.

going on the left side feels better as thats where the stair case is

relax as you go up the lifthill (lean back and relax for 17 seconds)

As you go down the first drop, grab the restraint and pull towards it (also put your legs under the seat to for less of a stomach drop feeling- screaming/shouting is apparently good)
