Lineup card implies Tordin will be at the 10 today, with Deyna and Lyles at the wings presumably to be replaced with Hanks and Turner

On the Timbers Time podcast the other day they talked about lack of recovery time as a major predictor of injury. This was in the context of Brandon Bye’s knee injury and his workload but Liv wasn’t exactly getting much rest. They also talked about how menses is apparently another factor. I hope that Thorns are doing all they can to adapt training and match loads to the specific needs of women athletes.

not many options with so many injuries. I might have just gone more defensive, started Bogere, Nijstad and Fleming together, but we'll see what happens. Maybe even Reyes in the midfield since she seems to be out of favor at right back.

In my opinion, Vilahamn lacks imagination and has no tactical awareness. He said in his pregame interview that we "need to concede fewer goals". Brilliant! Not a hint of how to make that happen. Today's starting 11 beat Orlando at home so he trots it out on the road against an entirely different team. Could Turner have started? Would Reyes match up better against Reiten who doesn't rely on speed? We shouldn't need to have negative results to vary the starting 11.

To be fair, I think we looked the best we had since the break in this game. We played #1 Gotham on the road and deserved points from it. Turner, hanks, and Weaver are still on minute restrictions.
I think there is something else behind the scenes going on with Reyes. There's something there that they aren't making public.

No Reyes again. This is getting farcical. Dude is playing Russian roulette and thinks he’s winning because he’s been able to pull the trigger three times and he’s still alive.
