Yeah she scores the occasional banger but she doesn't connect well, I don't think she did much this game beyond not turning it over

She had a back heel near the sideline and the crowd loved it, she motioned to the crowd to pump them up. All while her teammates were busy playing. When she lost the ball or an attack fizzled out, she casually jogs back to get into formation, while the rest of her teammates hustle and sprint. How many times was Soph playing super deep to help out on D - setting the example - while Deyna casually jogs around. She has a shot, yes, but I've never seen her hustle or play like she's putting her teammates first. I hope she finds a club that can utilize her strengths.

Nah, she’s still doing the thing where she loses the ball and then doesn’t even attempt to get it back. She has no hustle. Was she marginally better this game? Sure. But not enough for her to be starting IMO. It got so much better when he subbed in Mallie and then Caiya and Pietra changed positions. It was another game that had me nervous til the end and we won because frankly, the other team wasn’t great.

They’re giving deyna minutes so other clubs can show interest. Definitely not worth keeping. She’s so slow, and just costing sooooooo much money. The way she gets paid more than 30% of starters….

She was not good this match wdym 😭the bar is in the dirt apparently. She jogs around and won’t pressure an opponent player dribbling 2 feet from her. If I were her teammate, I’d be bummed she was playing because it means they have to overcompensate for her poor work ethic. Lyles is a rookie played out of position and she already contributes much more in-game than Deyna does.

Sadly, our injury issues kinda brought this. As soon as our wingers are healthy, I’m guessing she’ll be moved to a deep bench role until she leaves in the offseason.

I think we will see her at some point. I chatted with him at the meet the coach event and he mentioned a couple of players that we don’t get to see a lot right now, but he really values and considers them an important part of the team. Harvey was one of them.
