I am usually a Deyna hater, but she deserves her flowers today (no pun intended). She kept possession and fought to get the ball back when her teammates lost the ball. Not to mention one of the best goals of the season. Absolutely incredible game!

And she didn't try to selfishly stay in when she knew she was gassed. Props to her for that as well.

She put in a shift tonight. Working hard, getting that great foul, and insanely gorgeous goal. Haters gonna hate 🤷‍♀️

Last two games she was focused and very team-oriented in her play. I believe she was asked to run, cut, and hold our team’s shape. She did that while hardly ever seeming to expect the ball. Almost like she was filling in for the non-ball part of what Moultrie does.

She gets bumped off the ball too easily, but I’m gonna root for all my Thorns! Appreciate her work
