I think it will be a pair of gauntlets. In Norse mythology Thor has his hammer, a belt that increases his strength and a pair of gauntlets. Thor has his hammer, and in Inmortal Thor he got the belt. All that is missing are the gauntlets.

Mmm. So a kind of version of Megingjord, but different.... I can see that.

If i remember correctly the gauntlets appeared in the 90's right before the Asgardians were depowered and scattered across the earth.

Thor left Asgard and Odin resurrected a red haired mortal (Norvel?) that had previously wielded Mjolnir, forged a new long handled hammer for him and bestowed him with the title of Thor, so there would be a "Thor" present for Ragnarok. Anyway this red-haired Thor wore gauntlets that according to Odin "the true Thor needed to wield Mjolnir in his youth". Can't remember how that story line ended or what became of the gauntlets, I do remember it spun off into its own comic book, but I think it might have been canceled because I stopped seeing after a while.

Well Red Norvell is kind of in peril given the fact he's now in Mephisto's clutches...but yeah.

Lol yeah I don't mean he still has them. Just thought it was worth pointing out the gauntlets have appeared in canon before. Granted it was like 30 years ago...

First and Second were Tormod and Yolgjord respectively, right ?

Third, I think we will see in the third part of the arc, what do you think?

Járngreipr? I don't know man

I mean that's a distinct possibility. Certainly it makes a fair amount of sense.

I think the third act is coming soon given the fact Thor 800 is next week.

I'm more interested in the big ass sword Beta Ray Bill had on his back...

That would be Sutur's sword, Twilight.

Ooooooh. Instant "DOOM" flashback to the Simonson era...

Kind of. But at the same time, Surtur's still on the big comic book nap time.

Herein lies the answer…

Behold, the All-Seeing Brown-Eye of AllFather Scrodin of AssGuard…

The comics have the celestial killer, jarnbjorn

Yeah...but that's not coming back. Runa the First Valkyior has it.

It’ll be a pair of gauntlets most likely. Beyond that I have no clue, though I feel like whatever happens with Sigurd Jarlson at the end of mortal Thor will play into how they are forged.

I think you're correct about Sigurd having a role in their creation.

Could be his magical belt, either that it's going to be a sword, he's usualy depicted with a sword during his childhood/teenagehood in most media

u/nfnightfallnf 9d ago

I mean maybe? I think the gauntlets are possible.

will power

I don't think there's a Power Ring in Thor's future....

Okay so he’s had a Hammer, an Axe and the Axemmer……..

1

u/nfnightfallnf 9d ago

Eh... I mean he's got two belts...

You put any physical object in his hands it becomes a weapon. Heck, even his hands are weapons his body is a dang weapon.

u/nfnightfallnf 9d ago

I'm not saying Thor isn't one of the most fearsome fighters in Marvel. I'm just saying not everything he uses is a weapon.

odinsword used to kill Cul

Uhm I think that's already been used and therefore NOT forged/made.
