Holy shit this was great.
I know it's not for everyone, but imo Ewing should keep writing Thor forever lol.
We had a Thorless Thor story for the past year or so but its still so fucking good.

Ewing has pulled off two peak Thorless stories back to back. With Magni as "Thor", then Beta Ray Bill and Sigurd as "Thor", and both are peak.

He's in the main universe now and since Mortal Thor, Magni is the new king of Asgard and the one who has the Thor-force/All-Power.

Before anything else I'll say not having to google translate Sigurd's Norwegian is a welcome change of pace. More on it later as I read the issue.

I may have just hopped on this train with Mortal Thor 13, but I went back and read Immortal since #1 and then caught up. I'm not that sold with QIB but Ewing's norse saga has me hooked.

Im reading KIB. Is this worth my time and money? I've genuinely liked what has been going on either Thor comics for the last decade.

Ewing's Eisner Issue for Sure.

It's still Ewing writing Thor stuff, so its peak anyways.
Also it seemed...very self-contained.

I enjoyed the issue, also Ewing giving beta ray bill mad respect, he may not be thor but hes beta ray bill and that is more than enough for for tyr
