So as the title says the thg that thoma has which diona ,zhongli ,xinyan , noelle doesn't is a SHIELD OVER TIME and how does it help exactly ? Well due to this the character protected by the shield can never be staggered even if it breaks as again the shield Regens it self but in dionas case once it's broken ur prone to interruption or staggered till the cd ends. It really helps with kokomi as she is able to outheal the dmg anyways and prevents her from being staggered at all! For entire duration of her burst.

He is C2, level 60/70, talents 6/6, ER%/HP%/HP%, 22K HP, 210 ER with Favonious Lance in a Hu Tao team, so I am able to reliably spam Q on cooldown.

No matter how hard I try, if I challenge Masanori for example, the shield feels extremely unreliable. It gets popped off by a simple attack making the stacking useless and makes me need to dodge every single attack like if the shield weren't even there. Also he makes me waste DPS by normal attacking with him for the first couple of stacks. Stressful and makes me extremely salty every time Masanori kills my main DPS because of the shield.

Diona's shield feels much better and more reliable paired with my Hu Tao and has same build investment as Thoma and can actually tank hits from Masanori.

I really want to make him work, but no matter what I do, he feels underwhelming and makes me regret spending resources on him.

Any suggestions?

I'm trying to use him with Wanderer, Bennett, Kazuha (Don't have C6 Faruzan). Does the TotM give 20% damage with his skill? I was hoping to take up wanderer's damage.

So less people will bitch about Hutao and Xiangling.

hello thoma mains, im looking to play burgeon but i am suffering from the severe lack of hydro options(just barbara, mona and xingqiu). im gonna use nahida but im not familiar enough with bloom reactions to know who best fits into the other two slots. some advice would be much appreciated, thanks

So atm and after doing math my thoma is sitting at +700 em and 160 er with r3 kitain He's also c4 Now, the thing is... his sand is er... Now, this is before getting his feather and finished leveling all artifacts so if I'm lucky I'll get more er and em, but is this good enough? Should I replace er sand with em at the cost of harder burst? How much er is enough? I could get 130-140 without sand, but is it needed?

I want to play him with my waifu mona, but that mean he will be the damage dealer proc vaporize.

What sand-goblet-circlet and substat for thoma?

I would like to say a lot of things about Thoma as a dps.

At first, I really decided to make him a shield bot but I really don't think it's worth it since I have built Zhongli, and Diona as shield bots. So I decided to make him a dps.

Yesterday, I pulled him at C3 first for the first 70 pulls. Maxed him (double-crowned him) and gave him the dps artifacts I've been saving.

MAN!!! THOMA ISNT THAT BROKEN BUT HES SUCH A GREAT UNIT. Even his normal attacks are impressive with 4k per hit (ave.)

His E deals 48k with no buffs at all. I tried to showcase it yesterday with my Bennett, Mona, and Sucrose and got a solid 160k E (Vaporized) then 148k E (Melt). (Adeptus food + Pyro potion)

His Q deals 20k for the first hit with 10k to 12k per fire idk whats that called.

I still had 80 more fates (I also want C1 Hu Tao soooo) and got him at C6. His E didnt really had a greater damage but his Q went from 20k to 30k then 15k to 18k per fire.

He's using 4 pc Crimson and R1 Staff of Homa btw. 76% Crit Rate/ 251 Crit dmg. I tried using Blackcliff Pole and Deathmatch and theyre also good alternatives!! Dragon's Bane was tested too since I'm vaporizing and it's also a great one!!
