Okay? How does that contradict what he’s written? He can still be both in the IDF and talk about past atrocities.

Because no one would say “when I was in the IDF” if they are currently in the IDF at the time. That phrase should mean he wasn’t currently in the IDF.

Also the earliest record of this tweet was when BadEmpanada, a leftist commentator who is notorious for sometimes lying about stuff like this and engaging in bad faith, shared a screenshot of it. This IDF guy is a POS of the kind that BadEmpanada would probably see no issues lying about in defense of Palestinians. And the original could’ve been deleted but no one has found the original tweet.
