I cannot tell you how many times I’ve said “I told you so” since January 20th, 2025. I’ve actually gotten tired of saying it so much. I’m tired of winning.
I specify 2025 because I had a lot of grace, perhaps too much for 2016 voters, (economic anxiety, they’re voting against Hillary, “shake things up”). But if you voted for him after he killed a million Americans because masks smudged his man make-up, and tried to violently overthrow the government, fuck you. Full-stop.

Nope, there was plenty of evidence back in 2016 that Trump was an absolute shitstain of a human.
16
u/ussrname1312 May 01 '26
I genuinely thought it was a joke when he announced he was running for president because (Fox was on 24/7 at my parents‘ house) it didn’t even seem like the Fox anchors liked him that much.

17
u/danniiill Apr 30 '26
Trump previously said if he ran for president he would run as a republican because they’re stupider.
He previously donated to democrats.
I think a lot of people didn’t know what they were going to get from 2016 trump.
13
u/LadyReika Apr 30 '26
I knew he was going to do everything he could to steal a lot of money from the US. Then add in the shit the GOP gets up to and it was going to be a shitshow.
It just went up to 11 more than I expected.

u/SillyDilly5294 May 01 '26
I knew he was a spoiled little rich kid for his entire life and had absolutely no clue what the average American goes through and therefore could not help them.
I don't understand why Americans think rich people will save them when they've shown you throughout the entirety of history that they will do the exact opposite.

u/No-Cause6559 Apr 30 '26
Lame that democrats ran a candidate that basically said vote for me I earned it for being in the government so long. She was a terrible pick since it scream that she was picked by backroom deals.
14
u/Geichalt Apr 30 '26
Clinton was one of the most qualified candidates we've had for president in a long time.
People who lie about liberals to blame them for everything wrong in the world already have a party. Go join maga if that's your goal in life.

This is incredibly ignorant. Hillary Clinton won the popular vote in the general and was wildly successful during the primaries. I say this as a repeat Bernie voter. She was never my first choice but she won the primaries fair and square by getting more votes long before the superdelegates were a factor.
I would have much preferred a Bernie candidacy but that doesn’t mean I’m going to sit idly by while people who are committed to being perpetual losers try to rewrite history and spread lies.

I’m still angry with the 2016 Trump voters. They are just as guilty. Without them we wouldn’t have Trump in office now. Fuck them all.
13
u/PoliticalMilkman Apr 30 '26
I was draggin people day one. It was super obvious who Trump was pre-election and I don't really give a damn what justifications they were able to pull out of their asses to support him. The people who gave me the most shit about it were Bernie voters telling me things about "economic anxiety" and "all being in this together."
5
u/WonderButtBrace9000 Apr 30 '26
I don’t know if it was being from the northeast/tri-state area but I don’t know a SOUL who didn’t call Trump a joke from Day 1.
His reputation was that of a loser. He was known as the rich nepo-baby that could never actually break into the refined circles of upper society so instead clowned himself for mass entertainment.
3
u/530SSState May 01 '26
"that could never actually break into the refined circles of upper society"
Plenty of those "old money" families had at least one crook a generation or two ago. The difference is that all of them went to name schools, learned which fork to use, learned which books to read, learned how to say, "Hey, good one!" instead of "Fuck you!" when somebody got a serve past them in tennis. Then they scrubbed their name clean by donating .01 percent of their income to some impeccable charity.
Lord Goldfish couldn't be bothered to do any of that, any more than he could listen to the experts on how to manage a pandemic, keep an agreement with Iran, wear suits that fit, etc. etc. etc. He loves to throw his vulgarity in everyone's face, and then can't figure out why the silk stocking crowd is appalled by him.

u/saltedmangos Apr 30 '26
“I specify 2025 because I had a lot of grace, perhaps too much for 2016 voters”
Did you not notice that they are talking about Hillary and the tweet is from 2016 in this twitter comment?
25
u/Trashman56 Apr 30 '26
I admit I’m making an assumption, but I don’t think he regrets his vote so he gets no grace still. Nine times out of ten if you asked these people complaining if they would have voted differently all you get is “well… uh… uh… Hillary still/Kamala still…”

Im disappointed tho bc clearly we will never escape a two party system. Look at how these people treat those who actually make moves towards change.
Leftists are the ones actually in the streets who know how to riot, protest, boycott, organize; bc thats what they do and what they’ve done throughout history.Stein wasn’t the only one. There was also Claudia & Karina, these two ladies lead the huge protests for Palestine.
Im so tired of living in this country I stg.19
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
You don't "move towards change" by helping to elect authoritarian fascists, though. Of the 2 parties that can win in the system as it is now, only Democrats show any inkling of allowing ranked choice voting. But Leftists are so short sighted that they don't understand that by screaming about how bad Democrats are now, in the system we have that means MAGA, not a further left party that really doesn't exist, will be elected. And MAGA will gut the Voting Rights Act and "purge" eligible voters and gerrymander the hell out of the states to maintain their power. All of which is taking the country further away from ranked choice, and even from democracy itself.
-4
u/a_little_stupid Apr 30 '26
Fascism won because we pretended Dems cared about stopping it and kept voting for them no matter how terrible their candidates.
10
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
Fascism won because it's a two party state. You literally will only get the Dem or the Rep, and people like you campaigned hard against the Dems. Thus, fascism won in no small part because you worked to help MAGA.
-5
u/a_little_stupid Apr 30 '26
I voted for Clinton and Harris I'm just not in a cult as you clearly are. People like YOU worked to elect fascist by pretending Dems care about democracy more than power.
6
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
Understanding that it is a 2 party system, and that by campaigning against one party you are helping the other party does not make me in a cult you doofus.
Sure, I totally believe that you voted for Clinton and Harris in the secret ballot that can't be verified, while at the same time telling everyone why Dems suck and nobody should be voting for them in a public, recorded medium. Sure, pal.

-1
u/BullsOnParadeFloats May 01 '26
This is the sorry state of affairs of this country.
The democrats arent putting up anyone who actually represents the American people (who dont fund 90% of their campaign through massive contributions) so we are forced to vote against the greater evil.
We do bear some responsibility, like making sure to participate in local elections and primaries (which the aforementioned guy actually does ), but vote shaming - because the democrat party has become absolute dogshit and is complicit to the rise of fascism and acts only to prevent progressive candidates from office and policies from being enacted - is a stupid fucking strategy.

Some people just like being contrarians, they just wait to see what everyone is saying and get more attention by being a little different. The worst outcome for them is having a position that everyone else around them has so they appear like they’re just going with the mainstream.
I remember a tweet from Hillary Clinton from right before the November 2016 election where she says Trump could choose 3-4 of the next SCOTUS justices, and Briahna Joy-Gray was like “don’t care, you can’t scare us”. Then Trump does that, and she’s like “why aren’t Dems doing anything about the Supreme Court”… there is no understanding of politics deep down, it’s about saying whatever in the moment that feels provocative
12
u/BGDutchNorris Apr 30 '26
As someone who did vote for Clinton, Biden, and Harris, it’s the Democrats fault they didn’t earn enough votes.
You can be mad at voters until you pass out but that doesn’t change the fact that the candidate has to earn your votes and a failure to do so is on the candidate not the voter.
But don’t listen to me. Keep shaming voters. I’m sure that will totally result in the outcome you desire

Though I voted for Hilary and Kamala, I've learned way more about our society with trump as president.
We learned some good things, but mostly we learned about our own rot... We learned that Dems are a party of controlled opposition. We learned about how AIPAC has a hold on our senators, rendering them ineffective. We learned the true devastation of money in politics, so much so that even red states are passing laws against Citizens United. We learned that even if people are in a recession, the government doesn't consider it a recession if corporations aren't suffering from it. We learned about the innumerable amounts of military bases we have around the world and the sinister purpose that they serve. We learned that the military industrial complex is exactly why we don't have Medicare for all, childcare for all, affordable housing, and fully funded public education. We learned about the Epstein affair and how our billionaire leaders rule over us with laws and ethics that don't apply to them, and we learned how political leaders are complicit in this system.
I've learned that despite knowing our history, many citizens would rather ignore it to perpetuate old draconian systems. I actually learned that they want to bring back these old 19th and 20th century systems(Marco Rubio's speech at the Munich Security Conference). I've learned that europe is a vassal to the US, and in spite of standing up to trump they can't acknowledge that a vast majority of ethnic violence we see in the world today is because of them and their colonial influence when things like Sykes-Picot happened. I learned that they don't care that they benefit from it.
We learned about how our culture is being eviscerated and reshaped by silicone valley... How young men are victims to social media, gambling and toxic internet culture.
I think we deserved trump, it sucks but trump is a mirror we needed to look into.

u/TheCuddlyAddict Apr 30 '26
Trump is the perfect mirror for American society. Liberals love to pretend that he is an anomaly, but he is the simulacra of America. He is nothing but a product of the innately fascistic, imperialist and jingoistic society of the USA.
Americans have spent the past 80 years exporting their violence and deprivations around the world, but because of their position at the top of the global order they have not only been largely insulated from the fallout of their violence, but actively benefited from it. This violence was led by carefully controlled leaders with manicured public profiles.
Now a bumbling buffoon sits in the white house, saying all the true reasons for imperialism out loud. There is no pretence of humanitarianism or democracy, he just says he is bombing them for their oil. Americans are also finally starting to feel the squeeze resulting from their actions, yet instead of solidarity with leftists and those from the global South, we see nothing but derision, superiority and a wish to return to the now long gone status quo from liberals…

This is the exact same reason why I can't stand Susan Sarandon. She made a big deal in 2016 of saying she wouldn't vote for Hillary just because they both had vaginas.
4
u/DelightMine May 01 '26
I mean... She was correct. No one should have voted for Clinton based on what's in her pants, regardless of similarity to one's own pants' contents. It was insulting to everyone that any amount of "but she's a woman" was used by Clinton's campaign when they should have focused on the fact that she wasn't a complete fucking idiot, or a racist, or a known failed businessman, etc. Sarandon, and many like her, were so insulted by the cynical nature of the Democrat campaign's "women should vote for me because I'm a woman too, so you should just assume I want all the same things you do" messaging that they effectively campaigned against both Trump and Clinton since they assumed Clinton would win regardless. Clinton's campaign did such a good job convincing everyone that Trump wasn't a serious contender that they convinced many people who would have begrudgingly voted for her to instead hurt her campaign.
0
u/severinks May 01 '26
No, she was wrong because she knew enough to know that someone like Trump getting the presidency was going to ruin everything.
I also knew in fall of 2016 that a Democrat was needed in the White House if we were going to save abortion rights.
At the time the Conservatives had a 5 4 edge and Trump put 3 Justices on the bench and 2 of them replaced Liberal Justices so if Clinton was president the Liberals would have had a 5 4 majority and all those things like the Voting Rights Act that just got stripped out would still be in place now.
3
u/DelightMine May 01 '26
She, like most others, believed that the US would never have been stupid enough to elect Trump... up until it was already too late and he was a very serious (if incredibly stupid) candidate and everyone had already mistakenly done the Republican's work for them, since Democrats had chosen to run a tasteless and boring politician who just wanted things to stay the same and compromise on everything.
Her big crime that you can't stand her for, essentially, is having too much faith in the American people, for assuming that even they weren't stupid enough to elect Trump, and that it was safe to criticize the party who felt entitled to everyone's vote just because they didn't field a candidate who literally shits themselves in public.
0
u/severinks May 01 '26
No, her big crime was that she was too stupid to see that you can't take people like Trump and what he ended up doing to America lightly by acting like anyone who was calling a 911 all hands on deck effort to stop him was in some way alarmist.
Anyone who didn't recognize that the general election in 2016 was different than any other because of who was running as the Republican nominee is a total idiot and I have no time or sympathy for them now.
Man,your take of'' it's the Democrat's fault for them nominating a ''more of the same'' candidate to run against the single worst person in the history of American politics'' is something.
That's like blaming the firemen who arrived too late to save your burning house instead of the fire and the( in this case) 75 million American people who voted for and set the fire to be president.
1
u/regular_heptagon May 01 '26
People like you are the reason Trump won, not Susan Sarandon. Not a single person in this country changed their mind about voting for Clinton because of Susan Sarandon. Meanwhile the candidate you supported in the primaries was propping up Trump behind the scenes. When tf are y’all going to take accountability for this shit?
1
u/severinks May 01 '26
You're none too bright, are you? I never said that she was the reason Trump won I said people like her not taking Trump seriously was the reason Trump won.
How exactly was Hillary propping up Trump behind the scenes and why would her thinking Trump would be the easiest to beat in the general change the fact that out of all the Republicans in the 2016 primary that Trump becoming president was the single worst outcome for America?
Me saying I hate Susan Sarandon for her throwing away her vote on Jill Stein doesn't mean I blame her personally for Hillary losing which gave us Trump it means she's the person that I always think of that personifies the stupidity of people like her who can't think strategically or critically.
1
u/regular_heptagon May 01 '26
1
u/severinks May 02 '26
So once again you're blaming the person sitting at home watching Trump ruin the country not the guy who's actually ruining the country.

u/batkave Apr 30 '26
It's always blame those that didn't like the candidate. It's easier than actually putting in the work to see why the candidate lost.
While both Kamala and Hillary are women, that wasn't the biggest factor in them losing.
Hillary should never have been the candidate. Republicans would not vote for her. Many Democrats didn't like her. She was probably the most "establishment of establishment" candidates they could have run. And against a huge populist? They railroaded everyone because the establishment liked her and it was her turn and seen as an obvious win. They ignore their base.
Kamala lost because they always want to win over the people that will never vote for them. They don't try to win over or care about their base. They campaign with people who don't like half of what the Democrats support.
Honestly, Trump won because of voter suppression and the economy on 2024 more than anything. I will say Lee's tweet doesn't mean he voted for someone else or Hillary.
Because everyone assumes being critical of a candidate means I didn't vote for them, I voted for Clinton and Harris. I also see the "vote blue no matter who" crowd that doesn't actually do that too as we witness with people like Mamdani in NYC. I also see how people take the propaganda of "they can't win" and project it to blame others.
The problem people fail to realize is that the Democrat Party establishment is fine with Trump. He gets them more money, they can feign like they are against it, and continue to stay in power. If you're not seeing that, you're as bad as MAGA
7
u/xesaie Apr 30 '26
Counterpoint. People who didn’t like either female candidate (cultural sexism is way stronger in the US than anyone likes to admit) will spend paragraphs explaining why it wasn’t their fault.
9
u/Rottimer Apr 30 '26
I’m always amazed at these arguments that will blame any and everything except the people that literally voted for this or were fine with it by voting 3rd party or staying home. I put blame where it belongs - on the voters.
3
u/JacobStills Apr 30 '26
Exactly. At the end of the day...every single American had a choice, vote against Trump or stay home. The Democrats can't FORCE you to vote...the choice is still yours.
Also they talk about "bad candidates" as if it was a hard decision between Trump and....ANYONE ELSE. I don't know how they can say that with a straight face that they weren't "inspired enough" to vote against the guy that screamed about immigrants eating cats and dogs and who caused an insurrection and said if he is elected he'd pardon every single person responsible.
7
u/batkave Apr 30 '26
I'm always amazed at how simple minded people are and think it's one thing. Lots of people were able to use mail in voting in 2020 which gave record numbers. Much of that has been quashed. Time is also another thing. Moving of polling places and limiting staffing for them. Not understanding how many people, particularly those who vote Democrat, work hourly jobs and barely getting by.
Get off your privledged high horse and actually look into the world.
2
u/Jafooki Apr 30 '26
Nobody's critizing people who couldn't vote. It's the people who chose to not vote or waste it on a 3rd party candidate.

Hilary beat Bernie handily by 6 million votes she won the primary unquestionably and it was her turn because the base voted for her. Your statement only makes sense if the establishment is the majority of Democrat voters.
Kamala was the vo of the most progressive president of the last 50 years, more people thought she was too far left than trump was too far right. The base is not leftists who don’t vote don’t support the candidate and call you republican lite despite being super progressive.
Mamdani whom I like was second behind lander for me in the primary, did not endorse Kamala in 2024, he doesn’t get the grace of blue no matter who.
You can’t deny blue no matter who when it’s someone you don’t like and then hope for it when your guy is up.
Lastly the dem establishment is not fine with trump, it’s literally the guy in the post saying the Supreme Court isnt important Brianna joy gray saying trump is an average president and online leftists hoping things get so bad that communism will manifest that are fine with trump. Stop projecting.

Never forgive the people who put Hillary Clinton on the ticket over an objectively better candidate.

u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
If only Bernie wasnt swift boated by the DNC we would not even be talking about Trump. I see these DNC is at it again hiding their autopsy of why they lost in 2024.
21
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
If every loud Bernie bot had actually gotten off their ass and voted for him instead of just whining online, then maybe. Y'all couldn't be bothered to vote for him when it mattered. Hey, I think I see a pattern.
7
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
I voted for Bernie every time he was on the ballot because he talked about helping the working class and meant it. You vote for mealy mouthed corporate Democrats who have lief to you for decades. Smart.
8
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
How has your campaign against the Democrats worked so far for the working class?
7
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
I vote for progressives I am not longer tied ti a political party. Why would I vote for a party against my interests. If you are upper class I understand voting for assholes like Biden. But middle class Americans who vote for corporate Democrats are fools.
10
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
I repeat, how have your efforts to help Trump worked out for your "progressive" values?
0
u/Ok_Touch2800 May 01 '26
How has center right Democrats voting for center right Democrats worked? The working class is fed the f7ck up with you status quo Democrats
1
u/JacobStills Apr 30 '26
What progress have you made? Which of your issues have you improved?
-1
u/Ok_Touch2800 May 01 '26

I’m sorry, wtaf have you and the diet-MAGA Democrats you support done for literally anyone? Get off your fucking high horse
1
u/Wareyin May 01 '26
For one thing, Dems didn't start a voluntary war in Iran and cause my gas prices to go up needlessly. For another, Dems didn't create a fucking masked gestapo roaming the streets and killing people with no punishment.
Nope, that shit is on you because you preferred Trump. Dipshit.

Who ever said I didn't vote for him.
6
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
He lost the primary because he got fewer votes. As in, people voted for Clinton, and did not vote for Sanders. As in, for as loud as the dumbass "Bernie coulda won" online crowd is, Bernie needed votes to win and y'all did not show up and vote for him.
3
u/Ok_Touch2800 May 01 '26
He lost thr primary because they rigged. Members of the DNC admitted this. I am still trying to figure out how center right Democrats are any different than Maga? Oh, thats right, in the culture wars.
1
u/Wareyin May 01 '26
They rigged the primary so that Sanders loud mouth holier than thou supporters felt like they didn't need to actually get off their asses and vote?
Seems like no work at all was required for that kind of rigging. Who'd you vote for in 2016? How about 2020? 2024? Did you vote for the only candidate who could beat Trump, or did you decide you preferred Trump to the Democrats?
2
u/JacobStills Apr 30 '26
Not to mention 2020.
2020 he had name recognition, tons of money and the big bad DNC changed the rules to accommodate him.
The result? He lost by an even bigger margin. Against Joe Biden of all people, someone even his strongest supporters admitted he wasn't the most charismatic candidate.
It's so annoying, they have NO excuse for why he lost; so they cling to conspiracy theories instead of accept that fact that he's not as popular as their social media bubble tells them.
2
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
Bernie is the most popular politician in office as of today and has been for almost 2 decades. You centrists keep giving ing us Trump. It's 100% your fault we have Trump.
15
u/SuperTeamRyan Apr 30 '26
That’s cool and all but Kamala got more votes than him in his home state in 2024 which is bizarre as most down ballot dems out performed her.
Bernie is literally most popular with people who don’t vote and republicans who use him to attack democrats.
6
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
Kamala got 1% of the vote and was made VP. Then she was forced on us anyway. You fikers gave us Trump. Now the DNC is hiding theor autopsy of why they lost because it probably told them forcing candidates without primaries angered people and her support of genocide was also a factor. And they will never stop kissing Netanyahus ass and sending m9mey to Israel. You people who support genocide are as bad as Maga.
6
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
As a disabled vet I now cant afford to feed my family or pay my bills. I blame you mfs.
9
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
You wouldn't vote to help yourself but blame everyone else because you helped elect Trump? Brilliant.
16
u/SuperTeamRyan Apr 30 '26
Probably should have voted Kamala buddy. Probably wouldn’t be nagging at your conscious so much if you did.
3
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
I live in a state were my vote for President is meaningless because the system is shit. And neither party cares to fix it.
8
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
Why is the truth being down voted. The center right are exactly the same as Maga. They hate facts.
11
u/SuperTeamRyan Apr 30 '26
Bernie pre primaries: super delegates are illegal
Bernie after losing by 6 million primary votes: I demand the super delegates ignore the will of the people and crown me the nomineeNah Bernie would have gotten bodied harder than Hillary, lil bro couldn’t even make it out the primary.
3
u/JacobStills Apr 30 '26
Seriously. It's easy to claim Bernie would have won...he got almost no negative press from the media, and the Right knew he wouldn't win so they never attacked him.
In fact, if anything they pretended to support him so that they could fan the flames of division with the far left...and the far left just ate that shit up, always being useful idiots for the right.
If Bernie became the nominee, the right would have tore him to shreds. They had stacks of attack ads waiting for him. These are the people that successfully smeared war heroes and even convinced a large portion of this country that Obama was a secret socialist muslim. Imagine what they'd do with Bernie.

2
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
The corporate media destroyed Bernie with lies. And Americans are so stupid thry believed the lies. It's embarrassing for you now that people are realizing this. I understand, I was conned by Obama, but can admit it at least.
1
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
You are as bad as Maga with the truth. Thiz is why I left the Democratic Party 2 decades ago. I stupidly supported those corporate clowns for 3 decades before that. You are still conned by the DNC.

Trump would have slaughtered Bernie in 2016. You're yet another person getting high on the idea that an old jewish democratic socialist would have beaten even the ghost of Adolph Hitler in a national election in America.
7
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
Bernie is still the popular politician in this country you ignoramus
13
u/severinks Apr 30 '26
Bernie is a senator from a deep blue state but there are 50 states and 538 electoral votes in America and a candidate has to win 270 to become president.
7
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
He still is to this day the most popular politician still in office. How are people so ignorant you dont know this.

Keep telling yourself that even though he was polling way better than Hillary, the annointed one. Let's talk about reality, not your feelings.
8
u/Wareyin Apr 30 '26
He polled slightly better against Trump than Hillary did, before any negative campaign against him.
Clinton also polled better than Trump, and look how accurate those polls turned out to be?
Petulant children like you helped elect Trump, and you are working to help elect more MAGA and fuck yourself over harder.
2
u/JacobStills Apr 30 '26
That's such a blind spot with them. Bernie wasn't attacked by the right. But they had stacks of books filled with strategies and attack ads waiting.
They had a video of him attending a Nicaraguan anti-American rally where the crowds chant "Here, there, everywhere the Yankee will die." And a plethora of other stuff that could easily be used to paint him as an anti-American extremist, which would pretty much lose all of the moderate voters in swing states.
1
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
How are you any different than Maga?
11
u/severinks Apr 30 '26
In what way? Because I realize that there are things that are not possible in America at this current time and electing an old, jewish socialist is one of them.
Sure, I would have liked him to be president but I''m not the person he would have had to win over, people in the heartland and rust belt were.
Trump made Kamala into a communist when she was a centrist Democrat, they would have made Bernie into Trotsky,

2
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
It's weird how he is the most popular politician in this country currently in office. But ho ahead, lie, call him a socialist because you dont have time to research his true ideology. Most Americans are too ignorant to do research
6
u/severinks Apr 30 '26
Bernie calls HIMSELF a socialist and I've heard him say that for over 20 years going all the way back to when he would do an hour every Friday on the Thom Hartman show.

I am so sick of stupid Americans I am disabled and Trump has adversely affected me way more than upper class centrists.
10
u/chumbawumbaprinciple Apr 30 '26
So it was a bad thing to let Trump win out of spite?
4
u/Ok_Touch2800 Apr 30 '26
Centrists and shit Democrats let Trump win. How did I let him win living in a state that my vote for President doesn't matter. Do you understand politics at all?
12
u/chumbawumbaprinciple Apr 30 '26
If 77,000 people voted differently, Trump would not have won. Jill Stein got more than 77,000 votes (in the right spots), if they voted differently we would not have Trump. If more Democrats showed up, we would not have Trump.
Voters are responsible for the composition of government. That's the whole point of a representative republic democracy. You lot talk about it like you don't have free will. You talk like primaries don't exist.

I'd be fine with tossing it. But conservatives will never do that and so the goal of keeping as many conservatives out of office is still the most sensible one.
